Not only is the story odd, but the people at CBS who wrote it are. Half way down, it says this:

Police had to bring in a canine to get her out. She received medical treatment and stitches for the bite marks.

Huh? They sicked a dog on her? WTF. And there is no mention anywhere else about her being bitten, so I have to assume they just sicked a dog on her. A woman holes up in a closet armed with scissors and a cell phone, and the cops have to sick a dog on her? lol Does CBS use proof readers?

No offence here, but from an outside point of view.....that seems pretty tame compared to what I usually see your Police doing!!!

I'm used to full beat downs on unarmed men, unarmed men being shot to death, young and old being electrocuted etc

The police are electrocuting people? Who knew.

Rick, I wasn't actually trying to make a point about police brutality...or any point, really. I just find the whole story odd. Some crazy woman is holed up in a closet, so they call for a dog and sick it on her? Dogs aren't even trained for that.

But the story is written weird. That's what really stood out to me. The part about her being bitten is just thrown in there without explanation. It doesn't even say the dog did it. Maybe a cop bit her. It's just weirdly reported.

Have you been to this country? Just in case you haven't, it's not like a Mad Max movie over here, or some post apocalyptic nightmare.

BTW, if you read the comments on that story, it's suggested that the woman in the closet drew her inspiration from the UK. Apparently people over there have figured out that you can squat in someone's home, and there's not much the owner can do. If you see someone go on vacation, just break into his house and change the locks. The police won't kick you out. They tell the owner he has to take it to court. So meanwhile, the owner becomes homeless for weeks or months!

But fear not. Sharia is coming soon. They don't put up with that kind of crap. Eye for an eye and all that. Cheers!

Perhaps the dog had to get a hold of her to drag her to safety. Maybe it din't go in there and attack her or anything.

Hmmm nope sounds like they sent the dog in to scare her out maybe. Weird actually. Strange case. I am interested to know what she was doing there. I'm writing a movie about a Squatter but it's a comedy
