It's almost midnight here, and I am watching it.

I have no idea about football in the UK (soccer) let alone, American football.

I have no idea what's going on, I think the farther they run the more points or something.

It's late, there's nothing else on TV, and I just wanna say I have watched  Superbowl final in my life, lol.

Haha, nice.

A great game.  SF definitely gave Baltimore a run for their money after that 3rd quarter blackout.  Till next season.

wow, i really thought we had that one in the 4th qtr.

if you would have told me the 49ers would lose with a 300 yard passer, 100 yard rusher, and two 100 yard recievers.... i'd have laughed at you.....

Joe Flacco played perfect.

YES!!!!!!

And...I won first quarter and half time square pool. $15 invested, $39 cashed out.

Ray goes out in style and on top...the way it should be.

Sorry, Stevie.  Your boys gave it a great run though.

Excellent game!!!

It was amazing. I went out during the blackout and came back to see us 5 Pts behind!

One consolation: no prob with losing to a classy coach like John Harbaugh. Beats losing to maggots like Carroll or Bellicheat

Better luck next time, Stevie.  It seems that the 49ers are only going to get better with the core people they have, so I'm very confident in saying that there will definitely be a next time, if not next year.

I didn't have a horse in this race, either, really, and I'm not usually one to look at the officiating (unless the Mavs are playing), but it seemed like the Ravens got away with some VERY timely no calls at the end there.  I'm going to go review those plays again, to be sure, but there were two important holds that the Ravens should've gotten called for.

But, also, San Fran should've never played as miserable as they did in the first half.

Either way, at least it was an exciting game.  Can't ask for anything better than that when you really don't care for either team.

Thanks mate. Yeah some dodgy calls during the game. One that no one has really mentioned was a helmet grab on LMJ just before he fumbled. Thought more would've been made of it.

But, in the end, we couldn't quite get that go ahead td to win the game

It was a well played game, Stevie.  I was really hoping the Niners would win.  I had even accepted that I'd have to share the title of most Super Bowl wins with your team.

There's a penalty every play, it's just unfortunate when the refs seem to call them on your team more than the other.  Any given Sunday.

Hopefully it'll be the Steelers and Niners in the Super Bowl next year.

After all that up and down, the difference maker was special teams.
What should've been a back breaking second half kick off TD return, wasn't...
Enjoying a reflective 35 minute potty break, the 49ers FINALLY came to play.

But the tattoo kid ain't no Montana.
And shame on folks throwing that name around so soon.
For that matter, he ain't no Brady, who won a SB his first year starting.
But the 49ers do have the makings of an NFC dynasty, will be fun to watch them grow.

See you back on the gridiron in seven months!

E.D.

Would have been a blowout without the blackout.

The only negative thing about the result is that Ray Lewis goes out with a win. I guess murder always pays when you're in the NFL.

Lol.  Yeah, murder and rape and not much happens to Lewis and Roethlisburger.  But somebody lets two dogs fight each other and you're the league's biggest villain.  Shows where priorities are, huh?
