My short "Flagged For Removal" is going to be in the Jax Film Fest in November Will post the short after the contest

Here is a lil blurb about some of the stars

Ema Shah in her first American film with Jon Paul
On September 24, 2012 by besorvia

Ema shot her first short American movie in Jacksonville Florida on September 8, 2012, playing the role of a photographer who meets three murderers who kill people to sell their organs to doctors, and the scene depicts the way they find their victims, like the photographer who they ask to take some shots for them, then they break her neck, rape her dead, and sell her organs. The movie is based on a real story of three American young men in China. the movie, “Flagged for Removal”, directed by Jeff Hanson and starring Jon Paul, will participate in Jacksonville festival for short films among 200 movies, on November 4.

Of course you guys notice how the writer (ME) is not mentioned lol

Good job Dena.    Funny how they make no mention of your name.  Actually it's not funny.   Not at all.

Thanks rc and M...

It's a lil cheezy horror piece I did for some guys here in Jax.

The link is here http://www.denamckinnon.com/FLAGGED.pdf ...but remember I wrote it for a film person and spent about an afternoon on it so it may be riddled with small errors

Thanks ...I know it won't win but it'll be kewl to see something I wrote finally on film

then they break her neck, rape her dead, and sell her organs.

So it's fun for all ages?  They had to rape her dead after they broke her neck?  Tad overkill, but okay.

No rape at all was written in the short Filmmakers must have went overboard. I'm sure they din't show it. The two guys I wrote it for...wanted a lil more gore than I care to write.

And thanks it was fun to write out of my 'norm'.

I remember reading this script after you wrote it.  I forgot how disturbing it was.  Yuck!  Masterfully written.    Especially for an afternoon's work.  You need therapy, Dena.

Dark or not it's a darn good story.  There's a very powerful message there.   I'll never do drugs ever again after reading it.

Scared straight.
