Skipping through a patch of daisies and wildflowers, God's empty acre, I stumbled upon a lone ginger plant...it waved in the breeze desperately trying to fix my emotional demise but the crux of it all was blinding me like the burning sun...diamonds fell out of the sky like rain drops the size of hurricane hail...and at that moment I was confused if I were in Heaven or Hell...I ran for the forest...it was dark..a place where the shadows never leave..but it was here I stumbled up on a Pearl Dive...I entered in the 2911.21, bellied up to the bar where this hot Irish looking bartender came forth. I asked for a black forest..figured it appropriate but he poured me up something called a Meladori Colada instead...the liquor hit me hard and then it was all revealed...he was an imposter there to trick me...The Glim Dropper they called him, mysterious with his fedora hat...I begged for help and he laughed..said "But you can learn to play" but play I wasn't ready...and like a wave, a shower of dragonflies hit me...I ran out past a gnome with a shirt on that read Art's Tattoo Removal...it reminded me of that ink I got back in 99 and I hit the trail, sun dappled darkness, enveloped by fear and accomplishment, psychodelic fireflies danced around me as I escaped the obscurity of reason, reality...and then I looked up, it was a different light, there was a cake and icecream like a teaparty with the madhatter, I sat there with the birthday boy, Mark and smiled as I passed him a bow-topped basket.. he peered inside the gift and then it all made sense...A FEW MAY FIND THIS DIFFICULT but there they were...magical mushrooms and purple THISTLES.
Happy birthday Mark haha
PS I tried to make a poem with all the titles of your scripts Can you tell I have too much time?? Happy birthday dude! Enjoy!
The day of my birthday actually kind of sucked because I had the flu and spent most of the day trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer. Last night, however, definitely made up for it. Spent the whole night with my family having a bonfire and a relative came in from out of town I haven't seen in years, so it was definitely awesome.
Holy moly, Dena, that was awesome! (And a really sweet idea.) Thank you so much. (Although, I didn't see 'A Few Will Find This Difficult' in there. :-) I loved it, though. I was smiling while reading the whole time.
Hey Khamana. Thanks for the offer for the read. I have a couple shorts pretty much ready for posting, just waiting until Don starts accepting submissions again. But if you'd still like to take a read, both '2911.21' and 'A Few Will Find This Difficult' are in production and still have a couple months before filming starts, so any last minute ideas on either of those will definitely come in handy. No pressure, though.
Again. Thank you all for the wishes. My heart kind of skipped a beat when I checked the portal and saw this thread. :-)
