Hey All,

Just to let you guys know I haven't been on SS much lately as I have been sooooo busy and have requested we change Mondays to 26 hours.

Hope you guys are all well !!!!!!

I also didn't like the atmosphere around here during the OWC as everyone was digging their heals in. Not complaining just found the tension and attitudes at that time was not for me.

I have been completing a feature, writing 2 shorts at the request of producers, creating a treatment for another producer, creating a pilot for an Aussie comedy TV sitcom, starting development of another feature for another producer. Creating character Bio's (New territory for me) for one of my screenplay lead characters to be filmed in Sydney soon. Creating a beat sheet for a feature (New territory for me) though learning a lot from it.

Over and above this, I have tried to have a life outside of work and screenwriting, so had little time for reads on SS, though will try and get back here as often as I can.

My kids are on school holidays soon, so it will get more hectic. A bit like "Ma and Pa Kettle" Hee Hee.

I NEED TO GIVE UP MY DAY JOB AS I AM RUNNING SHORT ON TIME.

Trying to get more time back on SS to help new writers.

Yeah, the beauty and strife of the OWC but I promise you that the atmosphere is always like that.

Good to see you're keeping yourself busy and remember I want to catch a glimpse of that feature once finished.

And I agree with B.C, no way do I want Monday's to be longer.

Thanks for the posts, I really am struggling with time ATM and everyday just seems to short to achieve what i need to be doing.

I do miss the daily contact with you guys and hope to have a bit more time in early 2013 to get back on here more.

Did a few reads the other day as I was having withdrawal symptoms.

Got a giggle from this one.

Reminds me of a belt buckle I use to own. Had a flag and the words.
"The South will rise again" don't think it was referring to it in a global sense though.

I keep hearing people complain about the atmosphere during OWC. I don't know what changes so much other than the fact that most posts are script reviews.

Can somebody enlighten me?
