A special thanks to all who served, including myself... but this weekend is for those that died in the service of our nation... so that we can still gather, speak our minds without fear, and live in freedom without oppression.
My hope is that the American citizens will remember MY fellow brothers and Sisters in arms. This and honor their sacrifice... and I only hope our government does the same...

I did see the thread this morning, and appreciated it. I started to reply but didn't. I come from a military family, and the words always seem to fall short when I try to convey my feeling for the servicemen/women and their families.
