Shawn Davis (ledbetter)  18 works (5 features, 13 shorts)

Where can I find Shawn's stuff?

Anybody else remember that Alien fan-fic that was, like, 450 pages?

That guy was nuts haha!

As for this fan-fic...

I just opened up the guy's script and glanced over it.

Maybe, just maybe, if it wasn't for the formatting, I would try to read some of it, despite the long-ass page count.

I like a really good fan-fic, but it's gotta be done right.

As for the page count, yeah, it's a lot.

The longest script I ever wrote was 140 pages.

haha! Yes I remember that alien script! I have a lot of respect for someone who can actually manage to fill that many pages, bullshit or not, I struggle with 120!

While the formatting was definitely wrong, I have to wonder if that script was a 450 page first draft.  My first drafts are usually very long as a lot of it is free flowing nonsense.  One of my first drafts weighed in at about 180 pages.  I got it down to about 100 before submitting it.

Damn, I shouldn't have looked at this thread as it just shows how lazy I am at writing...

I joined on May 20th 2006, that's over 7 years ago and have only submitted 2 features and 16 shorts.

I do have a few shorts not posted here and also a couple of features too that aren't here...maybe I should start posting again?  I don't know if I can take another beating from Jeff though lol.

Check out my scripts...if you want to, no pressure.

You can find my scripts here

Maybe we should have a OYC (one year challenge) where everyone has to write a 300+ page screenplay.

Quoted from the goose
how about board member with the most 'produced' or 'optioned' scripts?

I think Pia may be the most produced with six shorts an two features... and another four features by year's end.

Quoted from Dreamscale
Dena (pale yellow) write about a new feature every 2 months.  Leegion seems to write a new feature every single month.

Then there's me...I don't write anymore for some unknown reason.

Well, I have toned down my writing quite a bit. Though, I do write a new feature every month (or every 2 weeks depending on if I'm in the zone) I upload only what I think people would want to read.

I just finished a 115 page fantasy script based on a book I wrote but never published.

Finished off a draft of Leaper.

Finalized a fan fiction script clocking in at 155 pages for Batman.

Finished off a 16 episode Batman fan-fic series.

An 8 episode crime noir series called Robert Dows.

A Robert Dows feature script.

My OWC entry about Maad and Vee.

Here is a list of my features (that have been on the board):
Bleak Falls
Deep
Outbreak Z
Fracture
Orion and the Sword of Light
Orion and the Amulet of Tereis
The Guardian of Time
The Hallowed Throne
Hostile: Apocalypse
Silent Hill
Resident Evil: Rebirth
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Assassin's Creed

My shorts:
Discovering Knowledge
Shellshock

So yeah, I am very busy, lol. I had a lot of scripts taken down a while back as I felt they were clogging up the site.

Still though, a writer writes. Not as if I have anything else to do.

PM me your email and I'll send it over.

EDIT: Found it.

I remember that OWC...

I thumbed through a few of these old scripts eariler when it was posted. Some of them, I like, some not so much.

All, however were stepping stones to where I am now so I don't regret them.

You wanna get offended, blown out of the water and pissed? Read PRIDES FALL.

It was in the SEVEN DEADLY SINS OWC.

WOW did I catch hell for that one.

Michael Duthin (for you old timers) dared me to do it, so there it is...

Shawn.....><

Thanks man!

I began writing to overcome a form of dyslexia.

When I first started visiting this site, I could hardly read or write.

This medium of expressing myself gave me the freedom to learn among other people who are learning the same craft.

It’s a place where making mistakes is part of the growth process.

I’ve told Don this. This place is responsible for giving me a voice.

Shawn…..><

Actually, I've had 20+ shorts made. I have lost count.

4 features produced. 2 released and 2 in post.  Also have one in pre-prod.

Hey, Don and dear fellas, to be in here, is not just a pleasure, but a great honor. Unfortunately I haven’t time enough those time to be with you because of my novels, but one day I’ll return to you all, hitting and missing like a crazy, like the old times! By the way, Don, when was my last short posted in here?
