No, I think they know that Nolan's trilogy will always be the definitive Batman films...

They will probably go a different route, like the comics, where as Nolan's films were more reality based.

I heard rumors about a month ago that hinted of a non-JL Superman/Batman film.  You can't go wrong $$$ wise, we're talking about two of the most legendary super heroes ever made.  Wasn't sure myself if they were going to go through with it, but I guess this confirms it.  

Since Snyder, Goyer, and Nolan did such a great job with Man of Steel.

Not for me. Haha.

I hope they make it edgey... and focus on their philosophical differences. I don't believe they should like eachother, but be forced to work together because of a common enemy.

I can't wait to see Clark Kent try and tap some Louis Lane ass when Bruce Wayne is putting his billion dollar pimp on.

This is an interesting combination of characters, but I think Hollywood's all out of steam going into it. Not just Warners, but EVERYBODY. Kinda jaded after reading that Save the Cat! article on Slate.

Heard about this on the radio today - apparently Zack Snyder's up to direct again. Expect investment in characters --- not.

I thought, first off, that they'd be in partnership, but then Harry Lennix quoted Batman - "I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come. In all your private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember, the one man who beat you." ... and then Snyder witters on about how it's 'beyond mythology' that these two guys are facing off ...??!!

Well, we already seen that SM's indestructible, so he's bound to win unless batman's also indestructible, whereby we'll then just get the end of MoS whereby both guys are indestructible ... until SM wins. Stuff.

Blame Disney - they're helping to kill the last vestiges of creativity.

The only way I'd pay to see this is if Superman and Batman just straight up fuck each other. Batcave, Fortress of Solitude, phone booth, whatever...full-on, full-costume, superhero sex. Just like, in a drunken fit of passion, or whatever. The rest of the movie could proceed as usual.

I think Goyer et al should consider it. If they wanna go down in history...
