Oh boy! That doesn't sound good.
I know a person who had it in the past and doing fine, so... Good luck to Phil and Janet! Stay strong!! And I don't know what else to say but will be thinking of you two.

Thanks Brett for the update.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the good wishes and thoughts.  Phil is conscious now, and making occasional cranky jokes.  So that's always a good sign.  But it did happen pretty quickly, and pretty nasty, too...

For all you Breaking Bad fans: I told Phil that when the medical bills start coming in on this one, he's going to have to shave his head and start making meth...

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, everyone.  I go in for surgery tomorrow morning and will probably be here for another week or two.

I'd like to thank Pia, Dena, Kevin and Cornetto for the flowers.  They're very much appreciated.

When I'm better and have something resembling control on my life, I be back on the boards again.  I miss being here with you guys.
