Sad day in Bushworld.  My cat, Mango, had to be put down tonight.  I'm crushed and have no problem saying I've been crying for hours.

It's the way it is and I know that...but...its also a way that sucks.  Coolest cat around, but she's no more.  I held her head as she was put to sleep and my tears that fell are what life's all about.

Obvioulsly, I'm a softie when it comes to life, and  I have no problem admitting it.

My heart is broken...damn fucking coolest cat around.

RIP....

Sorry to hear the news. Very sad time when a good friend dies. One of my best friends died two years ago and I still think about him every day. So I know how you feel.

Thanks, Dustin.

She was so fucking cool.  Went through so many trials and tribulations with me.  You know...the kind where animals are seriously your best friend and in their eyes, you can do no wrong.

Rough week.  The crazy thing is my girlfriend gave her bad sardines and started her downfall.  And tonight...nowhere to be seen or heard.  I think she's no longer my girl.

I'm so pathetic right now...absolutely devastated.

I can relate. When my Chloe (dog) died  - I also had to have her put to sleep, I sobbed like a baby for days. They become a part of your family and the grief is very real.

As for your girl, she obviously feels partially responsible considering how close you were to Mango. My advice would be to go easy on her. Perhaps it was a tipping point but it sounds like Mango was already vulnerable. Hang in there Jeff. I feel for you.

Sorry to hear that, man. My best friend's cat, Doobie (yes, named after naughty cigarettes), recently passed away. That crushed me... and it wasn't even my cat! But he had been there for all our crazy parties, etc. and felt like as much a part of our friendship group as anyone else.

Hang in there, brother.

Peace to Mango.

Hard thing to go through. No words help, if there were, I'd try to find some. At least you were there for her.

Jeff,

Sorry to hear the news. I've been through it before. It's very tough, and those are real tears shed for someone who has shared your life with you for so long. No matter what, they're always there for you.

It's weird. As sad as death can be its a very bittersweet experience. I guess because death is part of life, and it's not the final act, but rather another chapter in a long book. A book you never want to see come to an end.

Sorry for your loss, Jeff.

Steve

Jeff,

I'm sorry for both of your losses.
Strange and painful waters to navigate for a while.

Hope peace comes to you when best appropriate.

I'm so sorry Jeff. I know how much you loved your cat/s. I thought you had two.

Hope you cheer up soon.

Sending you a big hug.

Sorry for your loss, Jeff. Losing a pet can be as painful as losing a friend or relative especially when you raise them from an early age. Most of us treat them as a child and it pains us when the day comes to see them go. I've been through it myself and my only advice is to hang in there, remember the good times with her and stay strong. Time evidently heals.

Take care, bro.

So very sorry my brother.

There are few things harder than putting down a member of your family.

Take care bro.

Sorry to hear about that. I doubt there's much I can say to make you feel better. I know how it is and it's real rough. Hang in there.

Hey Jeff,

Sorry to hear it dude, I know how you must be feeling as most of us have been through it at some time or another.

When you have a pet that always gives you their unconditional love, it's hard not to feel emotional about the loss.

Alex
