Breanne, I hear you. Babz went apeshit when she first heard about this and wanted to go all legal on them and I can understand that. However, having experienced this type of thing in the past, it always causes more stress and bad feelings to fight it than it does to try to make the best of it. As mentioned, I haven't checked this version out yet, but I think some of the more outrageous credits have been removed. They are currently working on the script for the feature. Some people thought that was outrageous too, but the producer agreed to get me a "based on original story by" type thing. I'll be impressed if they can make a good feature out of a short scene, but if they do, I'll be happy.
Khamanna, I never thought of that. I guess I can ask them.
Ooh, nice one, Pia. Great atmosphere and I like the setting, both down home familiar and foreboding all at once. there's the obvious creep factor, mixed with that sad sense of hopelessness. Even w/o the break-in of zombies, mom's condition seals the daughter's fate. Filmmakers did you justice Fine bit of acting, too. i've made a copy for myself. And I'm sorry about the story credit thing.
JP, thanks! I'm glad you remembered it. Things like that from MP members helped me prove it was my original story.
Abe, thanks for your kind words. You have a copy? Can you burn me a copy? I don't have one. I'll reimburse you of course...don't know why I never get a DVD of any of my films. Not even the features... Thanks for interpreting the story as intended.
Sorry, late to the ball game. Its been hit & miss with me lately. Been awhile, I don't remember reading this one, but I'm glad I got a chance to see it. The ending was sad, but it was a wonderful short film. So congrats.
