Quoted from dead by dawn

You answered your first question with your second question:  because a foreign country is trying - and has succeeded - on infringing upon our freedom of speech.  A fat, slimy, pathetic, loser dictator, snaps his fingers and gets a major Hollywood movie shut down by spearheading this hacking and making threats to blow up movie theaters, just because he's a whiny, sensitive little bitch and thinks he can get whatever he wants.  That doesn't bother you?

What did bother me was this film. It's obviously been made to appeal to patriotic Americans. I'm not one of them. Never have been and I never will be. I happen to think that people in the US and Britain are just as brainwashed as we claim people in N Korea are. I don't see how he thinks he can get whatever he wants. He wanted this film shut down... it is.

It doesn't matter whether it was a Seth Rogan movie or not.  What happens the next time he doesn't like something that somebody's doing over here?  Does he do the same thing?

You make it sound as though he's just stopped the Superbowl. He stopped a film made in very bad taste about him and his people. It's also a film that depicts his death. He's still alive. This film is not funny and is typical of the right wing fervour sweeping through the west lately. I'm feeling it myself too. Only, the force is strong within this one. Don't suppose that'll matter if it ever gets to war... but I won't be fighting. Unless they threaten to shoot me... then I suppose, I'll have no choice.

"Ah, rose Uhhmericans, day pussies, day will wissin' to me!"

Love it. Perfect.

A comedian just got critically slaughtered in my country for a film they brought out where they take the piss out of a Chinaman doing exactly what you've just done here. Know what they call it? Racism.

Quoted Text
What happens when another one of those jerk off dictators think they can do the same thing?  It's fucking horse shit.

Yeehaw. Pow, pow, pow. Why do I feel like putting on some breeches, holding them up with braces and hopping from foot to foot?

Quoted Text
Ultimately it IS Sony's decision to release the movie,

IS it? Sorry... what was that? Oh, you said... IS. Gotcha.

Quoted Text
but something has to be done about what happened.

Something has been done... they've taken the stupid film down. Why it even got a green light in the first place I will never know.

Quoted Text
Whatever it should be, I don't know, but something needs to be done.

I see by your emphasis that something really needs to be done... you just don't know what. How about war? Let's go kill those slanty-eyed gooks.

Quoted Text
I doubt anything will happen, though.

Why not do something yourself? How about an actual found footage movie of you going to N Korea and slapping the evil dictator? You'd be an all-American hero. Yeehaw!

Quoted Text
Obama will just make us look like a bunch of pussies by keeping his mouth shut.

Yeah, because it's not like you're terrified of it looking like you've lost a war to N Korea or anything.

Quoted Text
This I can totally understand as the real reason they canceled the movie ^^^

Of course you can... anything but face the actual truth.

Quoted Text
Sony's terrified that more e-mails will get leaked making them look like assholes.  I just read an article in the paper that one of the e-mails trashed Denzel Washington, saying (paraphrasing) that they don't like casting black actors as leads because people overseas are racists.  Some shit like that.

Oh yeah, they have lots more. It's clear. Not the first racist-linked email either. There was also much hilarity over Jolie and Madonna's trend for adopting black babies.

Quoted Text
You can bet your ass...

Well, I know you guys are partial to a bit of that (can't do two months in jail without arse raping each other) but, aside from not being a gambling man, my ass is staying a virgin.

Quoted Text

if The Interview does get it's release - which it should...

Why?

Quoted Text
Like you said, you'll see how "terrified" Americans are. haha

I said Americans are terrified of it looking as though they have lost to N Korea. Everything you've said in this post has helped prove this further.

Looks like it's getting released after all (at least limited).

highest rated movie on IMDB, 9.9 with almost 40.000 votes. I gave it a 10 for the lulz.

I remember Sister Hazel, they had a song and it went something like this... "One chance at recovering what was lost, one shot at redemption, at any cost."

I just gave it a 1 and I haven't seen it... nor will I ever.

It's got almost 80000 votes at the moment and it's telling that now people have actually seen it, how the score is dropping. I've heard that the story is really bad. I find it sad what the world is coming to. It's like watching a bunch of giddy morons running about creating havoc and not being able to do anything about it.

Closing the blinds helps... and so does smoking copious amounts of cannabinoid laden herbal material... but, still...

I saw it. I wasn't good but it wasn't terrible. Stupid juvenile humor, I think I may have laughed once or twice. They run their stupid played out shtick. There have been worse comedies lately. Good comedies are really hard to find.

Noodling around on NetFlix this morning, I see this is streaming on Instant Play already.

Wow, it must really suck haha.  Most reviews confirm that.

Honestly, I have no idea if I am going to watch this or not.  Weird.

Hey, it's my tiny, little IMDb!

I watched it Sunday night and yes, it sucked majorly. I'm not a big Seth Rogen fan, but he was okay. It was James Franco that ruined it completely with his over the top acting.
