Here's the ultra-bizarre teaser trailer for my company's new 'spacesploitation' sci-fi/horror/comedy, titled SPACE RIPPERS!
We keep meaning to make a solid, marketable film, but instead they just keep getting weirder.
This one's sort of a mashup of 60s sci-fi and 80s sci-fi and horror. It's been a pretty crazy adventure already, figuring out how to work with miniatures and stop motion, and a few of the other 'old-school' effects styles.
Anyway, hope y'all enjoy!
And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that SimplyScripts has very kindly supported this project on IndieGoGo. Thank you Don!!

This looks awesome! Just be aware, once you go too deep into the weird of ‘Retroactive Decay’, it’s hard to return… trust me, lol. This project looks like it’s gonna’ be (inter)stellar.
This trailer looks very cool. I don't know if you have seen Kung Fury, but, this has that same sort of feel to it. It looks like it will be a fun movie.
A few questions, why only fund on there? Why not put up a post on gofundme or kickstarter? I'd do them all.
I wish you the best of luck. If there is anything I can do, feel free to ask.
I'm interested in reading animation, horror, sci fy, suspense, fantasy, and anything that is good. I enjoy writing the same. Looking to team with anyone!
Thanks Dan! Definitely seen Kung Fury -- very much in line with us, especially the fact that they released it for free online, which is super cool (we've done the same with our previous features).
We may do a gofundme during post! We put a lot of our own money into these and to the extent that we can, we want to pay our own way, since we're privileged to work full-time jobs and make disposable income. This is our second, and hopefully last, time crowdfunding -- provided we can make a successful film, of course
We shoot in August and I will definitely keep y'all updated. Very excited.
