Sad year for horror.
Horror movie aren't really hot anymore. The latest Halloween and Friday the 13th installments keep getting delayed and/or cancelled. We're lucky to have gotten The Babadook, and (I haven't seen it yet), but I've heard good things about It Follows.
Recent horrors have all flopped, save for Goosebumps, of all horror movies. (My inner third grader wants to see that!
I loved those books and the TV series.)
And then we start losing some big names in the genre:
Dick Smith
Betsy Palmer
Christopher Lee
Wes Craven
And now Gunnar
I shudder to think who's next. How many years to the likes of Carpenter and Romero have left on them?
