Really sad. He had such a brilliant voice, chewed every syllable with relish. Must have been a dream as a screenwriter to hear him speak your dialogue. RIP.

Guess who's back? Back again?

Very sad. Bowie, and now Rickman.   Two gems,  both will be missed.

But thanks for the memories.

...both aged 69 as well. Is this the '27 Club' for those performers that pass the age of 27?

EDIT: Weirdly, Lemmy (from Motorhead) had turned 70 by 4 days when he died a few weeks back...

Rickman too? Say it ain't so.

Always did like the guy. Always made me smile. He did DeValera better than anyone else could. Damn shame. A fine actor, as good as they get.

R.I.P.

Now, nobody else that I like die anytime soon. I can't take it. I shall be listening to Staying Alive by the Bee Gees in amongst my Bowie albums. Ironically most of them are dead too. If Travolta dies soon, I shall take it as a personal slight.

Loved Rickman. Shame. May he RIP.

I often quote him from Die Hard - "oh no, you're one of them". - Bill Clay.
