Wow. Wasn't expecting this.

So many classics. I love Blazing Saddles (the first fart scene in a movie!  ), Young Frankenstein (FRON-kun-steen!), Willy Wonka, and Stir Crazy.

Extra credit: He was married to the late, great Gilda Radner.

Props. RIP.

We never do expect it, do we?

Yes, he and Gilda (one of the original SNL) were a great double act - hysterically funny in Woman In Red.

Alzheimer’s, apparently, last few years, which was kept secret. Still, he made it through a good innings and gave us lots of laughs. Thanks Gene! We'll miss you.

I didn't know he was still alive... still sad to hear he's dead though - a little. I was even more shocked to find out Mel Brooks is still alive. He's 90.

Gene Wilder/Richard Pryor movies were a staple as a kid.

Sad day but he had a good innings.

RIP
