Hi guys. Your nominations for best unsold screenplay of the year have received 100 votes so far. Thanks for the support!

As mentioned, The Audience List is an annual survey in which the audience nominates and votes for the best unsold screenplay of the year. The genres are comedy, horror and thriller. In other words, we ask you, the audience, to vote for THE script which, based on its logline, you would pay to watch as a movie at the cinema.

As posted already, your nominations for 2016 are:

The Attacker by Jean Roux
The Fuck-ups by Wally White & Marc McTizic
Going Going Gone by Phil Hwang
The Live Ones by Alex Carl
Log by Alison Parker

To read the loglines and vote, please visit http://www.theaudiencelist.com

Thanks again!

I might be in the minority here but I never really understand abstract comps/voting like this.

The actual screenplay exists or not?

I'm sure I could write some cracking log lines.

I suppose it gives the writer an idea whether their idea is going to fly. Jmho.

Yes, the screenplays exist. The attacker, Log and The Fuck-ups are posted at Scriptshadow. The Lives Ones was featured on the Blood List this year. And Going Going Gone was sourced from Amazon Studios.

How did the site arrive at the "nominated" scripts? Nominated by who?
It claims to be an "annual" survey, but the website appears to have been created just 4 days ago (November 19th).
Why doesn't "Gabriel Slater" wish us to know his/her real name or location?

Sorry, maybe I'm just too cynical...
