Fantastic watching a champion and a class act turn out the greatest comeback victory a superbowl has ever seen. What a patriot.

Unbelievable game, but not a personal fan of Brady, who I acknowledge as likely the greatest of all time, or the guy who signs his paychecks. Not hard to guess why if you know their political loyalty.

Since I was a little kid in the mid 70s, I've missed less than 10 Patriots games. Maybe less than 5. That includes a lot of really bad years. Wow, last night's game was absurd. Loved it!

Brady has had a microscope on him for 16 years now. How many of us could carry themselves with the class and humility he has for all that time? I doubt I could have. He rarely utters a word that doesn't convey perfect respect and humility, and his work ethic and determination to triumph over adversity is an inspiration.

And no, Putin did not steal the win from Atlanta! lol

Yep: I am not a Patriots fan, but:

Greatest Super Bowl Comeback of all time

Greatest QB of all time

Greatest Coach of all time

The debate is over

I don't think Brady is the greatest. If he played in the same era as Montana, Brady wouldn't of lasted 10 years. Great game last night though.

In every sport, the players today are stronger, faster, larger than yesteryear. Brady would have dominated in Montana's era. If you are going to argue that the rules are more offense friendly now - true - but Brady's competitors have the same advantage. In terms of receiver talent, Joe had the best of all time. In terms of coaches, Bill Walsh was a genius.

Brady - easy call

They protect the QB more. But they also have to. Players now are machines...faster, stronger, in better shape. And the NFL is more pass oriented, so the QB is much more exposed than before.

I always considered Montana the greatest. But Brady has long passed him, and not because of Sunday. The Patriots only missed the playoffs once under Brady, his second year, and they barely missed, winning 10 games(another year they missed when he was out for the season). In that span, they have been to 7 Super Bowls, and several other conference title games. He's done it mostly with undrafted weapons, throwaways, or low draft picks. Few of Brady's weapons will get a sniff of the H of F, except Moss and Welker, and most never made a pro bowl. You look at all the other QBs in the argument and they had a H of F cast around them.

And they will be back! Maybe 2 or 3 more times!

Could have not said it better.

And I would add this - when Brady took over for an injured Bledsoe the Patriots were 1-3 and headed nowhere. Brady comes in and they end up beating the Greatest Show on Turf in the Superbowl. i.e., he was THE difference.

Brady's the best so far. Can't really argue that. It's not just his record and stats, but he's the football version of Michael Jordan - he wills his team to victory.

But...if I had to pick a QB for one game, I'd have a hard time passing up Aaron Rogers (and that's coming from a Bears fan). Rogers just turned 33, Brady is 39. Anything can happen, but I suspect in 5-6 years, the debate will be on.

You sort of contradict yourself there a little. First you say athletes today are stronger, faster, and larger than they were in the past, then you say Montana played with the best receiver of all time. By your own admission, Tom supporting cast is stronger, faster, and larger, than Joe's supporting cast. Defensive players are not allowed to touch the quarterbacks today, all because bitch boy Brady got hurt in 08. If he played in an era where the defenders were flat out smashing opposing quarterbacks, Brady wouldn't have made it 10 years. Sorry, I'm getting heated. Brady does that to me. lol

No contradiction when taken in the right context, Zack. Montana played with the best receiver in the league - while others today play with Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Odell, etc. etc. Brady does not have that luxury.

Not sure why you think Brady would be flattened when Joe wasn't.

Joe = Height 6′ 2″, Weight 205 lbs
Tom = Height 6′ 4″, Weight 225 lbs

He's just a bigger dude. And to date, they have played pretty much the same amount of time -
Montana 16 seasons - Brady 17.

I loved Joe! I am also not a Pats fan (sadly, my team is Detroit). But just hard for me to see how one can't put Tom at the top of the heap now.

I'm a Cincinnati fan, so I'm always sour when it comes to football. Don't be down on Detriot. Teams are like your parents, you don't chose them, you are simply born to them.

And I see what you are saying about Rice. You do have a point there. But Joe's still the best in my book(even though he beat my Bengals twice in the big game!). He never threw a single pick in the Superbowl. That's got to count for something.
