Breanne, I think you're the only one here who's seen any of my films on the big screen. Santa's Gift to Joey/A Hero's Gift.

I remember that! There was a Q&A afterward. I remember the director being asked about the writing and mentioning your name.

I'm a bit nervous to be honest. I don't like watching my own stuff. This is a co-lab though. I'm weird, I know.

I saw Selfless in a local festival a few years back. I sat there with my fingers clutching the arm rest on one side and my husband's arm on the other, hunched down in the seat terrified. The audience responded well, though. If they hadn't, I don't know what I would have done. Probably crawled into the floor lol.

It's scary but my experience so far is that festival audiences are very supportive. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Congrats!

I understand the nervousness, just experienced that myself
When you sit in an almost full theater and your film is the next...

Good luck!

Just a reminder. If you are in the area and would like to see our short film on the big screen, it will be playing sometime between 4:30 and 5:30 pm this Saturday. This is your chance to get free food and drinks on Dena and me.

Would love to have been in the area. I'm sure it will be a hoot. G'luck with it and...
You two, have one for me!

It was GREAT! We ate and drank a few beers then watched 90 minutes of short films. Ours played second. I might be a bit biased, but I honestly think that The Curfew was second best. The best one was a film with kids in the woods at night. A horror. The kids' acting was great, I believe the girl has been on The Walking Dead, the cinematography was also great. The story was simple, but worked and had a twist at the end. It looked GREAT! The credits for that one was also very long, so I imagine some money went into making that one.

I have to mention Ben Liska who created the alligator animated logo for me. That totally kicked ass on the big screen! I have only seen it on computers before.

Let's do this again, Dena! When Ikea opens, I'll be in Jax quite often.

I cannot wait for the next project!

And yes.... loved ZAW as well.... I thought ours was second best too! Here is the one that Pia and I liked best if any of you want to check it out. I was very lucky to get to use the star in Zaw...Kennedy Brice in one of my 48 hour shorts called Karmopoly. She's a great little actress and yes she was "Molly" in Season 4 of TWD.
