I was wondering, since north-american or british movies get exposure all around the globe, what "foreign" movies do you guys know and like? I guess my question is primarily for the members of the U.S., Canada, England, Scottland, Ireland and Australia.

I'm killing time... and I'm curious

Vlade-B,

Since British movies are out ...

Some I remember enjoying are:

The Norwegian horror film,
Let the Right One In.

The Swedish crime/action films starring Joel Kinnaman,
Easy Money
Johan Falk

The Irish love story,
Once

The South Korean Zombie flick,
Train to Busan

French films,
Two Days, One Night
Amélie

The truth is, there are so many more great ones out there. These are just the first ones that came to mind.

All the best,
Marty

The Norwegian horror film,
Let the Right One In.

That's actually a Swedish film.

Pia,

I stand corrected. Thank you for that. Heck of a film.

All the best,

it's about as good as a zombie film gets these days. i was impressed with a lot of the character development.
you wont be bored... and plenty of Korean Melodrama to go around.

fun stuff.
