So, it seems one merely needs to imitate a woman for a few nights out on the town to completely understand them. So much so, that at age just 19, one can write with the voice of a 40-year-old woman. Just takes a few days. Like flipping burgers.

Interesting, thanks.

Agreed, Pia, I think Don’s being awesome here.

So the eligibility for being sponsored is straightforward:

1. The Writer’s Lab accepted your payment
2. You identify as a SimplyScripts member

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

... anybody, male or female, can enter so long as they identify as a female while writing the script they intend to enter. Really easy to identify as a male again afterward.

How easy was it?

Frank,

I am getting concerned that someone is going to start to push the limits on this, but essentially you are nearly correct.

1. The Writers Lab sends you a confirmation email that your application has been accepted. That confirmation shows you paid $55.00. You send that confirmation to me.
2. You are a current (as of 1/22/2018 )*, registered member of the SimplyScripts discussion board.
3. I paypal to you the $55.00 registration fee.

*I've added the 'as of 1/22/2018' registration requirement since I am concerned I'm going to be flooded with registration requests...

I could say that the idea that the whole of female experience can be encapsulated by being hit on a few times is, frankly, ludicrous and deeply insulting to women.

But I'll be kind and just say it is amusing instead.

I just wanted clarification. Now, I have complete and utter verification from a transsexual, that it is very easy to garner the full experience of being a woman in just a few nights out on the town whilst dressed as one... and going to 'normal' - 'straight' - places to boot.

I can just imagine my hairy unshaven mate, out for the night in the local pub while dressed as a woman - then having to fight off advances from all the lecherous men trying to touch his bum. A few nights of that, he takes off the costume and settles down to be a man again, satisfied with the knowledge that he now fully understands what it's like to be a mature female... therefore making him eligible to enter female-only competitions... and also, as an added bonus, the LBGTQ comps too.

Now that's sorted, I'm wondering, do you have to be black to identify as black? Lot of comps geared toward ethnic minorities that we middle-aged white men might actually be eligible for. I wonder how long it takes to experience being a mature black man? Would it take as long as a mature female? I already enjoy quite a lot of black culture, so maybe I'm qualified already and don't even know it.

Except I never said that. You're twisting words to suit your agenda. You're not even interested in finding out - fairly assessing information to come to an informed opinion.

Even more shameless is that you are going down this route, lying, warping and making things up, after being called out for such disingenuous tactics.

A few nights of that, he takes off the costume and settles down to be a man again, satisfied with the knowledge that he now fully understands what it's like to be a mature female.

Mendaciousness and insidiousness still in full swing. Just like in your last post re: heart surgery, you throw up yet another ridiculous setup to try and prove your position when all it does is show how you just want to negate at all costs. Again, no interest in actually hearing out, learning and getting a better idea and understanding (even if that emboldens your original opinion).

So this time you specifically choose someone hairy and unshaven. Really? This is either testament to your deceitfulness  or - if you were being serious - to your utter ignorance and further evidence that you shouldn't be talking about trans.

Funny you didn't give your hairy mate hair removal. Or think of smooth guys like:

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/50/22/84/502284204e3d31da54307b64c4d54398.jpg
https://i0.wp.com/boytogirl.me/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/main-1.jpg?fit=600%2C600&ssl=1

And we all know why you didn't - because you didn't want to concede that trans can get amorous attention from straight males just like real women do.

Even more hilarious is that your attempts to fix things in your favour is undone because many a hairy, unshaven guy can clean up great - once again exposing your total ignorance:

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/0f/51/8a/0f518a6ca485479ef5e5c50edc6c6dc1.jpg

So yeah, they're all getting hit on. A lot.

And to top it off, to expose your ignorance further, even non-convincing trans get him on by trans-admirers. And yeah, they treat them like real women.

Oh, and yeah, I never said gain full knowledge of being a woman after a handful of nights out. Time and again, I made it very clear what I was referring to and you know it.

I don't get why a trans-woman or trans-man even tells people about it. Let alone get in angry public arguments.

A perfectly legitimate question, worthy of discussion.

But I hate where this thread is going.

C'mon, guys.  Just be decent to one another, for pete's sake.

I could never write as a mature female because I lack the experience and I know that it has taken me 40 years to be able to write with the voice of a 40-year-old man. I just don't understand how a comp that is seeking the voices (writing) of mature women will also settle for people that identify as female. I need further clarification what that means. Don, in his eternal wisdom, has decreed that it means anybody can enter so long as they write with a female voice and have at least identified as a mature female while writing it. Are we to be discriminated against just because we change our minds a lot?

This is not a true statement. I have decreed nothing.  The Writers Lab has established the eligibility. I am merely reimbursing discussion board members (as of 1/22/18 ) the cost of submission if the discussion board member can prove that the submission and payment have been received by The Writers Lab.
