Shouldn’t a bible have a story treatment or break down the season?
Just Murdered by Sean Elwood (Zombie Sean) and Gabriel Moronta (Mr. Ripley) - (Dark Comedy, Horror) All is fair in love and war. A hopeless romantic gay man resorts to bloodshed to win the coveted position of Bridesmaid. 99 pages. https://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-comedy/m-1624410571/
It depends on the project, but there's also a lot of differing opinions about what's essential in a bible. Bibles used to be documents that helped other writers understand the show, but now theyre more for pitching and marketing to producers. Ive done more comprehensive bibles in the past,.but this ones more concise. The most essential core components being characters, story, and format which ensures created by credit.
I found the stranger things bible which contains what I was emphasizing about revealing the plot points in each episode. I mean, you don’t have to be specific but, tell us a general version of your story progression.
That is my humble opinion. In no way I am saying your wrong. I’m just looking at it from a financiers POV.
Hope this helps, Gabe
