I was interviewed recently for the Script Shop Show about Cyborn. Sharing it here as I managed to get in a plug for Simply Scripts (and Hyperepics) and the One Week Challenge.

http://scriptshopshow.com/cyborn-mark-renshaw-script-shop-episode-071/

+++++++++++++++

Probably a good idea to Read the script before listening to the show.  It's only 3 pages, so not a huge lift.

If you are considering submitting, please listen to one podcast in its entirety before submitting for the code word.

I was going to listen to a few minutes before bed and ended up listening to the whole thing.

Wow you have a ton of things going on, it's quite inspiring.

Congrats on the semi-final placements for Cyborn, hopefully it makes it all the way.

When might SS members be allowed to read the feature? I've got a whole free day tomorrow

It was really interesting hearing what you did in London with that tarantula and the like.

Congratulations with the podcast Mark, that's awesome!

And well done with managing to not be so fussy about having limited time to write. That's an eye opener for me as it's something I've used as an excuse for far too long.

Cheers

Max

Thanks for checking it out. It's a long interview so I'm touched you guys listened to it all and liked it.

For those more interested in the tarantula pitching thing I'm doing at the moment, here's a blog I wrote about phase 1 http://mark-renshaw.com/talent-campus-ignition/

I go back down to London Wednesday for phase 2. I may not return lol!

Warren, PM me your email address and I'll send Cyborn over to you.

I'm waiting to see both Cyborn and Shaka make its way to the SS boards so we all can enjoy them...

Why does this program only have 52 followers?  They've done multiple podcasts.  It's a great concept and no one cares.  It seems like they should have thousands of followers.

Agreed, it is a shame - there podcasts are great and they are doing something no-one else does. Youy would think writers at least would be subscribing.

Well I listened and enjoyed your show.  It's a great marketing tool for not only your script but you the writer.  I'm sure this would catch on with a bit more pushing.  Try posting your interview on Facebook's Screenwriting page.  I'm sure they'd be all over this.

I don't know how I missed this.  I will run this on 4/17 on the blog.  If any other SSers have been featured on this show, please let me know.

I listened to it too. You came off well, Mark. Much success to you, mate.

I also went to your site and saw the I Am Peter Cushing video. I love Peter Cushing, especially his Amicus stuff.

Thanks. IAPC was fun to make, I wish I could make more films in the UK but all my stuff seems to resonate more in the US and I get little or not action on my own front door. Taht would be great if the budgets included flying me over, alas no.
