I've got two days to complete my draft for a feature I've been working on, and I feel like I'm spending more time pacing in front of my computer than I am writing. Fuuuuck. Somebody, please, light a fire under my ass and help me stay motivated.

Just do what I did and skip all the bullshit you don't want to write. Lol.
Also, where did said arbitrary timeframe come from? =)
P.S. John Denver. Trust me. Get that playlist going and you're good to go.

How will your characters feel if you just leave them without finishing the script? They just sit there in limbo, waiting for their story to end. Only, it never will, because God has decided to procrastinate. Do it for the characters. They deserve better than this.

Got the next couple of days off and I've promised myself that I will finish my draft by the 12th.

The characters would very much prefer that I stay away from the script. Lol

Just fucking do it, Zack! Seriously. Start right now and keep going until you need a new Slug. Get up, drink, smoke, party - no more than 15 minutes - go back do it again.

I'm barreling ahead, Dude.
If anyone has any cool tunes they like to listen to when they write, share them here. Wanna add more to my playlist.

He's all good, Jeff. I put him on a hamster wheel and he's ready to work. =)

Stop coming back here and procrastinating, get writing! Get a pot of coffee on (or whatever beverage helps you concentrate) plugin some tunes and WORK! You better get this done or I'll send the boys around to stick a baseball bat up your nightdress.
