Several reports of random emails for this new "script promotion" opportunity.

Not sure what they do, exactly, but doesn't look like they're asking for money.

If anybody takes them up on it, please report back on the experience.

Hey Bert, I had just such an email this morning (re Poultice) so am planning on doing the usual and seeing if I can get in touch and get an interview with whoever runs them... will keep you all posted.

Didn't get an email but I got a follow from them on Instagram. No links to any websites. And I used the Google machine to investigate further but couldn't find anything on them.

As per Michael's comment, they appear to only exist on Insta, I've messaged them so will see if they respond.

Can someone forward me a copy of the email they sent out?  webmaster @ simplyscripts.com

Looks like just a mass email.

I think they just want to built a platform, have a few scripts already to become something akin to ScriptRevolution or SS in the future. Just like any other new website for the exception that the others don't try a personal approach to build up their platform.

Which would be fine if they actually read the script - but since everyone is getting the same form letter....

Yes absolutely. I agree. Lying like that is not good.

They asked me about the script that comes up first in online search for me. I don't know about the others, but I'm sure about mine - they haven't read it.

Starting to feel left out - haven't been asked yet...

They followed me on Instagram a little bit ago. Just followed them back. All I see is pretty much what they asked for in the email Richard shared -- their posts are just scenes from films along with the an excerpt from the script of that scene. It only looks like they're promoting scripts from already-produced films.

They've agreed to an interview too, so that'll be sent over to them this week.
