Big shout out to Asta and her husband, Clay... two good friends of mine who also happen to be two well-respected figures in the horror scene out here in NYC. Both are Troma alumni, Asta being the star of the glorious schlockfest that is "Return to Nuke Em High Vol 1 & 2". She's also great as the lead in "Sociopatha" on Amazon Prime. Both are attached as the leads in "They Never Left" under their Abandoned House Productions LLC banner. Fantastic actors and filmmakers, they're also fantastic people -- both do a lot for the indie film community. Though her Youtube channel and show are pretty new and still building, the interviews are pretty cool and her guests are very interesting filmmakers and artists as well, featuring the director of Shudder's "We Are Still Here" and "Mohawk", Ted Geoghegan and Jen Wexler of Glass Eye Pix, director of the awesome punk slasher, Shudder's "The Ranger" starring the wickedly awesome Jeremy Holm. Just glad to be included with such great company. Subscribe to her channel! -- Michael

Haha, thanks Heretic. As a 90's hip hop head, it's one of my favorite hoodies.

I wouldn't doubt it, especially Lloyd.

Thanks, Andrea!
BTW, if anyone wants to take a look at the script for "They Never Left", you can check it out right here on Simply Scripts.
https://www.simplyscripts.net/cgi-bin/Blah/Blah.pl?b-horror/m-1590254279/ Still in early stages of development, so I'll probably be tinkering with the script up until things start to heat up again.

Very cool. Given your stated interest, it is definitely time to start drafting "Honey Mustard the Musical." Some suggested starters for songs: The Kills are Alive ... Don't Tip Mi ... You Killed a Dear, my Female, Dear. ..

I felt my heart beating in my throat when that scene hit. It really got to me. Still think it should have won best picture.

Ha! It would be cool to get the movie made and then, years later, have a Broadway (or off Broadway) musical version of the movie like they do with everything. Actually remember seeing "Reanimator the Musical" with George Wendt... it was pretty awesome outside of having to wear a poncho in a very hot theater in the summer (there was a lot of blood splatter). But... one step at a time...
Awesome! Giving it a listen!
