To everyone in SS land.

Thanks to Don for keeping SS going and not letting it die.
For the mods for trying to keep the peace with us unruly bunch
And for all for the support from members I've received throughout the year, with a special call out to Michael Kospiah for reviewing some of my scripts.

It's a fantastic community, here's to continued fun in 2021 and hopefully a better year for us all.

It's still just the 23rd here, but I'm Swedish to the core, and to us, the big day is the 24th, not 25th, so Merry Christmas to you and everyone else in the Simply Scripts world.

My husband and I are looking forward to New Year's eve when we will make a big fire in the fire pit and ceremoniously burn all our 2020 calendars. Our wishes will be the same as a year ago. 2020 blew big time.

Happy Christmas to everyone from me too!

Sure has been a year we'd all rather forget.

I did a few... But yes, a big shout out to Michael K. who pretty much kept the blog page running single handedly with his terrific reviews!

Oh, and I'm going to sneak it in here cause this thread might cause it to get lost:

Happy Birthday, Colkurtz!

Again, I hope everyone has a peaceful and healthy and happy Chrissy and New Year.

Thanks to Don (goes without saying really) for the great SS!

Merry Christmas one and all. If you are reading this, you made it through one of the worst years in modern history. So give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy the holidays.

Here's to a better 2021 for the world.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Big shout out to The Don, and to everyone who keeps SS up and running.

Here’s hoping our new year is filled with growth, reflection, options and sales, contest winners and quarter final placers, gifts and giving, and may the spirit of the season warm your heart.

I think we need to bring back a live chat room where we can all meet and get buzzed. That would be fun. Think there may have been something like that before. Let’s do it!

Even though it'd be virtual, it would be cool to meet some folks here on SS. A Zoom or Teams cod work.

Until then,  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

X-Mas day? Dude… you from the future, lol. It’s literally 4:15 PM here on Christmas Eve. Just opened my first drink, Actually, that’s a lie, the wife served me a Cranberry Mimosa, a Buck’s Fizz, a Silver Wattle, an Acacia Dealbata… not sure what any of those are except synonyms for: no, thank you, got me a beer, I’m good.

Merry Christmas all, and a way better 2021 than everything that ever came before it!

Jeepers, that's an impressive array of drinks, Rick.
And you pick a beer.

Yes we are from the future!
I'm getting the turkey ready as we speak, and the Chrissy pudding is on for its final boil.  9:30 am.

From our families to yours...

Merry Christmas one and all. Wishing you and your families a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year! And Happy Holidays to all who do not celebrate Christmas.- A&R

This is the one time of the year where I can say "screw sobriety."  So with my Vodka and Mountain dew in hand...

Toasting to further and upward for all our writing careers, as well.

I'm Norm!

And hey, Happy Holidays everyone!!! Have a very Merry Christmas and fun filled New Years!

I'm from the land where the New Years is the biggest Holliday of the year! I was planning to go to Baku but couldn't for the extreme Covid situation over there and had to cancel my ticket.

tomorrow we're with friends! I suppose they'll have wine and some kind of liquor, so I'll do what I always do - go with my own mix.

Ghostie - it's vodka and cranberry for me, tomorrow and on 31st. Hmm, I may go all kind of crazy and try it with Mountain Dew. Living a spicy life.

Happy happy, friends.

Nope, I'll keep Rebecca.
She was at least feisty.

Kham, I'll give you:
Kelly Gaines, the rich and simple love interest of Woody Boyd.

...If you think about it there were so many dumb-arses on that show. Lovable and funny but thick as bricks.

Speaking of, who of you is Cliff?
And of course Frasier?

https://www.geekycamel.com/cast-of-cheers-where-they-are-today/

You'd be a great Coach, Dave.
Just a helluva lot smarter.

I caught that shout out from PK too.   Very good.

Evening all, just wanted to take a minute to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy year, most of all good health!
These days people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family, they just copy and paste some random shit and send it on.
So, after all we've been though together this year I want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy 2018!
You are the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for.
Best wishes, Helen

Hi Folks,

Merry Christmas. I wanted to add my thanks to everyone on the board. This site is what people make of it.  Sincere thanks to LC, Pia, Sean, and Bert who I often go to for sage council on weighty issues of the discussion board and then promptly ignore it, usually to my peril.  And sincere thanks to members of the board too many to name for their thoughtful contributions to their [gender neutral term for fellow] screenwriters.

But I think Matt Rudduck put it best,

So, after all we've been though together this year I want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy 2018! You are the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for.
Best wishes, Helen

I don't there are enough appealing chracters on Cheers for women.
Pia, what's Mortici?

Have to do a sitcom crossover or cameos from Seinfeld or Friends.

Kham could be Rachel or Phoebe.

What do you say to Elaine (Seinfeld), Pia?
Andrea would be a good Elaine too with her great one-liners. ?

Elaine was great! Don’t know any of the Friends characters. I never watched the show.
