And next weeks adventure... COWBOY SAM IN SPACE...
This is and isn't a Cowboy Sam sequel. It's much too well written and makes too much sense to qualify as one. Yet, it was definitely written by a Cowboy Sam fan. So I guess it qualifies a fan-fic.
My only crit would be that it was too long for it's purpose. Plus, I'm not sure where the prophecy fits in.
I read this one prior to it being posted and let the writer know my thoughts, briefly.
I didn't really like it. I was thinking anythign with Cowboy Sam would be amazing, but this did not do it for me. Seemed to really drag and I never really got much out of it, sorry to say.
Well, a bit of a disappointment this one but I think it was more to do with my own expectations going into it.
I was really hoping for a lot of humour and was expecting anything involving the great character that is Cowboy Sam to be great and really give me a tickle but unfortunately this one was a miss for me.
It’s just too well written for a Cowboy Sam story for one thing and it felt too long-winded like it was trying to be more than it needed to be.
But there were some touches like Sheriff E.T and when alien was revealed as Cowboy Roy, it gave me a chuckle.
Not bad but a little bit of a letdown when you consider that Cowboy Sam was involved.
