Great job, everybody. Knew Jeff had something do to with Salem Finds Me...

Also, nice work for How to Make Me Disappear, Felipe. I really liked that one.

Nice work everybody - especially Ryan and Kevin.

A very interesting OWC.

Kevin, now no ducking out like Ryan, you need a proper photo, mind you i remember you have graced these pages before.

Oh, and a big thanks out to those who read but didn't write - brett, jeff and Simon come to mind. No doubt there were others.

Congrats to Kev and Ryan, both were great scripts. Good stuff.

Also, congrats to everyone who took part, I’ve learnt it’s not easy to come up with
something and get it down on paper in a week so well done to everyone. Some really good entries.

Coop well done - your 2nd script here?? Good on you!

Thanks, Simon. Think you’re probably the only one liked it. It was a great experience and I took a lot away from it.

I concur with this statement. Thanks to everyone who gave reads but didn’t enter, especially the guys who had to slug through my own script. Thanks.

At least I know my aim for the next OWC, runner-up gets you a mug and I want a crappy SS mug. I’m jealous, Kev.

Congratulations to Ryan and Kevin!!

And Gary, was I now just surprised to find out Witche's Flame was yours! (BTW is it WITCHE'S FLAME OR WITCHES' FLAME?) It happened to be my personal favorite and it really was memorable for me the way you painted it.

Good job, everyone.

Sandra

My dad always had the expression: "second place is like kissing your sister!"

But not if you get a mug for it!

Shouldn't it be Witch's Flame?

Congrats Kevin and Ryan

and everyone else who had written a script for the OWC.

There were a lot of good reads this time around, but then again, there always seems to be a nice variety of good reads for every OWC.

Typo on my part, but does Gary want it to be:

WITCH'S FLAME?

OR

WITCHES' FLAME?

Bravo to Ryan and Kevin for their outstanding stories.  I guess if I had voted for my third favorite, they would have been co-winners.

Congratulations to all writers, readers and cheerleaders in this "challenging" OWC.
I also want to commend the top-drawer writers, including Janet Clark and Cindy Keller, who took risks on stories out of their comfort zones.

And thanks to all readers of my Wicked Side script.  This OWC forced me to think of the story in terms of 90-100 pages, and to sidestep my preferred genre — Horror.  My story has veered toward a tale of revenge, which was unexpected at the outset.  I'm re-thinking the witchcraft angle and if it should be a part of this story as I move forward.

Thanks, Don, for another stimulating challenge.
