I wrote one but there's no time to reread much less to rewrite even a page of it. Also, I won't be able to read at all. Maybe 3 entries tops. So that's what I'll do - I'll not submit and read 3 to 4 entries.
Nice job, Rene! So many old writers are in.
And by old I don't mean their ages.
Yeah, I can't even think about submitting.

But good luck to all. Will be interesting to check out the genres that will be in.

C'mon Kham, entering is only a click away. I've the feeling that there aren't going to be too many entries.

I just finished my third revision. Time to let it sit overnight for one more viewing before the deadline.

Kham, enter!

I agree with John..not alot of entries coming.  I have FADE IN and that's it, and I swear that's true.

The more, the merrier...even Warren!

I'm officially not participating. Too busy of a week, what with Trump's impeachment and Britney Spears's latest conservatorship hearing. I didn't have much of an idea anyway.

Good luck to everybody. I might read a few.

I count at least a dozen affirmative, probably more like sixteen, and that's without the silent observers. I predict a decent turnout.

Aaa, I know what's going on here. Jeff, John, you just want me to have your back!

Got it.

No, seriously thanks. I'd want to be in just a little pressed for time this round. But lets see.

Submitted, phew!

I'm now going to bask in that glorious optimism before the first comments come in and bring me crashing back down to Earth.

Good luck everyone

This sounds about right except for the "glorious optimism before the first comments" part. I have no optimism whatsoever.

Rene, how is the scoring going to work in this one? (So I can score as I go through the reads)

John and Steven, you're too modest - you both know your scripts will be up there with the best

For OWCs my definition of optimism = This time, I don't think the comments are going to make me want to cry.

But alas, by Sunday I'll be sobbing into my second glass of vino

Submitted mine. I remember the last one, I was so convinced everyone would love it and then the first comment brought me crashing down to reality:

"The dialogue needs some major work. The story overall is very confusing in my book. I had to bail after page 10 (sorry)."

So I'm setting my expectations far lower this time!

I love that. How does someone bail after reading 10 pages!? I'm so vested by that point that I have to see how it ends.

You must’ve missed my last few OWC debacles.

Perspective is necessary, we are showcasing our wares to other writers, a picky bunch at the best of times... but they are not Producers (mostly), so a pinch of salt goes a long way!
