Why can't I submit a regular screenplay? Not for the contest, just an everyday screenplay. The post said we would be able to upload it on the 20th, but I'm not finding any luck...

I remember being able to e-mail Don my scripts for the OWC's. Now I can't figure out how I used to do that. I think regular submission is the same.

Seems to me there is a pretty small group of people reading these. I've read half, but plan on reading all. Except for that one that wasn't even in courier.

Read them all.

There were some good ones in here, but there were tons that, seemingly intentionally, didn't meet the criteria.  I'm not talking about dramas with comedy, but flat-out comedies with no drama.  And I could tell there were a few in here to simply waste everyone's time, which is a pretty sorry display IMO.

So, some quite good ones, but all the shenanigan nonsense brought the overall quality down.  Maybe gbrate saw that horrible Cabin submission which drove him to go on his rant.

So Greg, which ones you think have put their effort into this? I've read 25, still 9 more to go.

Who is gbrate?

I thought that Cabin submission was hilarious!  Maybe you guys haven't read Chis Halverson's Cannibal script in awhile.  What a classic!

Easy there, Harrop!  BTW, how are you coming along on filming "No Meat" in Machinima? I heard I'm playing Ronald and Tommy will be the eggplant.  Pia, do you want to play Abigail or Katherine?  We can get Sandra to play along side Pia (you girls decide which character you want to play).

PS  I've got 2 more to read and I'll have read and commented on them all.

JP, I'm planning to PM Don and ask him. I wrote something for this challenge and failed to submit. so, I'm planning to get it off my chest and submit through regular process (never did "regular" on this site).

I'll put together a list of the top 10 or so that I felt were the best rounded later today.  In terms of effort there were about 8 or so which showed little to none of it, with the Cabin taking the cake.

Mike, WAZ UP?  You don't feel like doing a Machinima ala 70's porn?

Greg, I have to seriously disagree with you about the Cabin script.  IMO, there was definitely some thought and effort put into it.  The way it tied those 2 classic scripts together at last was ingenious.  I just wish that Elijah had returned from the grave and grunted a few times at least.

Would you have gone for pastrami on your hoagie if you were that goofy camera man wearing the hat?  It was a ballsy move!
