Hmmmm... the only decent bands in my CD collection are the following -

Nirvana
Guns 'n' Roses
The Prodigy
Beach Boys
RAT PACK - Are they a band or just known as the Rat Pack? - well, Martin, Davis Jr, Sinatra et al (excuse me, I'll stop drooling over Dean Martin now  ...)
Radiohead

The Rat Pack was just a group of friends (mostly from Hollywood's a-list).  They hung out together.  I wouldn't call them a band.

My list:

The Beatles,
Led Zeppelin,
Barenaked Ladies,
Harry Chapin,
Bruce Springstein and the E Street Band,
Meatloaf.
