I really enjoy this guys music, I first got hooked from Shawshank Redemption and now have been listening ever since. Hank Jr. has some good songs as well but also has some really terrible ones.

But the original is a really good artist if you like this type of music, many people don't but I am not here to worry what others think. Just to share an opinion.

Hank Williams is good, he's pre Elvis and he was pre most anything really. I say this is one of the foundations to why Rock n' roll is here today. Although he was more Honky Tonk/Rockabilly I think he had something that no one has ever captured again...

Now granted he was a drunk, a piss poor husband, and a whiskey drinking mad man.. he could still churn out music I can tolerate.

I've no problems with Hank...

And he seems proud of it. Is Hank Williams Jr. his son? I was listening to some Hank Jr. songs and he sings like a death metal artist in some and others he's singing the blues.

LOL, yeah indeed he is his son. However, I don't believe he's making the same kind of music he used to. All that country stuff now and all that is very very comerical, almost pop now.

But yeah, Hank Williams JR is his son.

Thanks for clearing that up, I wasn't to sure besides the fact his name is Hank Williams Jr. but you never know these days with a lot of frauds and stuff.

Still an okay blues/country singer.
