I'm sure that almost EVERYBODY has heard Madonna's two new ultra-hits, "Hung Up," and "Sorry". Yes, they have played those songs time and time again - and fans across the world have been extremely excited about Madonna's new dance album: Confessions On a Dance Floor.
Even I was excited. But, nevertheless, it was kind of a ... disappointment.
The actual album has plentiful songs, including the two you've heard way too much. In total, 12 song. And in my opinion, only a few of them are something above good.
Of course, other people think differently. (From VH1), Madonna wanted to make an album where you fe el you just want to get up and dance! And it does exactly that (for some people, not all) - but the only problem is - some on the lyrics drag on like a slug and get tirelessly boring.
The songs I found the best were, "Hung Up", "Sorry", "Isaac", "Push", and "Like It Or Not".
The front cover is very glamourous indeed. It's still amazing though, how Madonan, almost 50-years-old, can look so young and do all those things which 20-year-olds can't manage to do. Well, she has worked out ALOT, so no surprise.
Madonna is also planning a Summer Tour, where she plans to focus on her new songs rather then the old ones. Lucky for me, she's going to Belgrade, Serbia - so I'm going to see her!
Anyway, I would give the album 6/10. This one cannot compare to some of the others, in my opinion.
Curse!
