So, I almost never type "OMG", but check these kids out!!

Be sure to give this at least to the 20 second mark -- could the little girl on drums possibly be more of a bad-ass??

No...I don't think she could....

Not exactly stuck in my head, but this music has definitely been playing in the background of Toy Horror Story coming to fruition.

Have sort of rediscovered this song by Aussie band Silverchair, from 1997.

Am learning how to play the bass on it! lol.  The lads were only 18 back then, this song being off their second album, 'Freak Show'.

I don't know why but I haven't been able to get rid of this for the past three days. I figured once I knew where it would go in a story of mine, it'd go away (as songs usually do) but it hasn't. The worst part is I hated Flashdance...

I tend to keep up with new music...
Because it helps me "assign" songs to script playlists.
But when you go back and page on rewrite a script, I always want "new" songs.

I'm doing a page one rewrite on Clone Wife for a feature producer...
And Passion Pit's new album came along at the right time.
This song, musically and lyrically, is really helping me through the new pages.

"It's Not My Fault, I'm Happy" fits that script's sensibilities perfectly for me...

Mark. Tremonti. Is. God. Period. Exclamation point. Times two.

Just ran into him yesterday at the Southern Park Mall here in Youngstown.  I was eating lunch with a friend (a drummer who I'm starting to work on a project with), and Tremonti came out of Vitamin World and approached us to say hi to Bill, my drummer.  Bill used to tour with a band and I guess he had hung out with Tremonti before.

Seems like a nice guy.

I love Creed's first album, and I love the music on the second album, although I kind of tuned out because it seemed they were getting too pop-py with their lyrics, but I've always had respect for their guitars.

Haven't heard much of Tremonti's new stuff, besides what you posted.  Very Alice in Chains-y, but again, the guitar sounds awesome.  Hopefully I can get off work tomorrow to go see the performance.

Lol.  Kind of embarrasing, but I should probably mention, I had know idea who the guy was until after when Bill told me it was Mark Tremonti.  Oops.

I should really pay attention to music and show business more often.

Was talking with Shawn (Ledbetter) about (what else?) 'Yellow Ledbetter' today, and now I can't get it out of my head.

Although, during the beginning instrumental, still 'til this day I keep waiting for somebody to start singing 'and the wind, it cries 'Mary'.

:-)  I came across these lyrics a while ago.  While I love Eddie's explanation of what the song's about, these are the lyrics I still sing along with:
