Yes, very sad news. I didn't know Tony at all, but I saw him comment on MP once and his old friends got happy to see him say something - can be told that he was loved by many.
Very sad and my condolences to his wife and relatives.
Sorry to here this. My condolences to his family an all that knew Tony.
I have to say, I never had the opportunity of meeting Tony though his work will live on the Net forever. When his name is googled, his efforts will appear for all to read for many years to come.
Life can be short and unpredictable, and after the death of a close friend a few years back, I feel that we all need to make the most of every opportunity that crosses our path, including helping those who are less fortunate than us.
I'm very sad to hear this. I didn't know him at all, but it still hits me when a member of the community is taken from us. My condolences to Aimee and the family.
'Artist' is not a term you should use to refer to yourself. Let others, and your work, do it for you.
Very sad. My deepest condolences go out to all who were close with him. I didn't know him, bus as many have said, his work will go on and hopefully his wife will carry on the dream as well.
I didn't know Tony but it's always sad when someone goes, especially someone so obviously in his prime. My heart goes out to his friends and loved ones.

I'm very sorry to hear this. I remember his comments as being straight-up and helpful. I also remember him as being one of the first members to get produced. My condolences, Aimee.

Thank you everyone, so much, for your words of sympathy and support. It's been a while since I've been active here, or since Tony was, and I am so touched that Don put up this announcement and that so many people have commented.
Tony struggled with depression as long as I knew him. I am heartbroken that his life ended this way. His 43rd birthday would have been this coming Friday. For anybody who is interested, people all around the world who cared about Tony are going to be performing acts of kindness. This started as a small thing that my family and I were going to do to remember, 43 acts of kindness on his 43rd birthday. It's turned into something so much bigger than I could have imagined. So if you are able, please do something kind for someone else on Friday. It can be anonymous. It can be big or small. It can be as simple as paying someone an unexpected compliment on their script here on the boards, or buying someone a cup of coffee; or as large as making a donation to a charity. If you do decide to participate, I'd love it if you'd let me know what you do and post it here or friend me on Facebook and let me know there.
Again, thank you, thank you, thank you. It's hard for me to imagine, now, screenwriting without my beloved husband and partner. But at some point, I am going to make it my mission to get at least one of the features we wrote together to the big screen. Simply Scripts has been a huge part of our success in optioning the features we have optioned. Tony was grateful for that, as am I.
