Congratulations to:

Janet Clarke (Wonkavite) with three (3) scripts in the quarter finals.
Hopscotch, Plague, and White Light (co-written with Tim Westland)

Tim Westland (TimWestland)
White Light (co-written with Janet Clarke)

David Lambertson (eldave1)
The Beginning of The End and The End and The Last Statesman

Henry Christner (Stumpzian)
Fabrini's Ballroom (which I think may have been based on the May, 2015 One Week Challenge Fabrini)

James Barron (MarkItZero)
4-D

Sean Chipman (Mr. Blonde)
Christmas Story

Anyone else?

- Don

n.b. links to scripts are very, very early drafts and probably bear very little resemblance to the scripts that made it to the quarter finals.

I'm on there for 4-D. Do I have to link the script? Cuz I hate what I sent in. I'm re-writing it now and plan on tossing it on the boards for last minute critique before the next round is announced.

And congrats to everyone!!

James,

I'm just linking to those works that were already on the site, so no pressure to post the script. I'm sure folks will be interested in seeing it, tho.

Congratulations all!

I'm confused though. Is this for features or shorts or both? Some of these I've read and they were very short. Like 5 pages or so. If they have been made into features, than I'll give you extra congrats! That's hard to do.

Kudos to Dave, Janet, James, Tim. As Don noted, mine was an OWC entry. I revised some things based on SS comments, including one from LC (Libby), who said the script needed a better title.

I agree. Janet is one of the most efficient writers out there. I witnessed her ink an original 60 minute pilot from start to finish in less than a week. It should also be noted that Janet Clarke has multiple scripts advance in the top tiers every year. Great fucking writer.

Hey guys -

Congrats!  Tim, Dave, Henry, James and Sean -- awesome sauce! Fingers crossed that we're all gonna rock PAGE!    And congrats to absolutely everyone who entered.
BTW - for me, Hopscotch is a feature (the short that inspired it is on SS), Plague is a TV Pilot (not on SS), and White Light a short.  Which is here.)   ))

Cheers,

With White Light you brought a real thinker scenario to life, well executed; but Hopscotch as a feature - this should go somewhere. Such a distinctive concept you threw out there. Great choice to develop it further. If you need a quick look at some point or willing to share just shoot it to my mail.

Hey Pruss -

Thanks!!  Yep, I really enjoy what I did when expanding Hopscotch.  And for the fun of it, it's basically set in my actual Bronx neighborhood - which leaves tons of easter eggs (for me.)  It's little under wraps, but let me think about sending it over... )

Congrats, Dave. You're a great writer and a very helpful/productive forum member. Especially since you don't write shorts yet always read and comment on others with no expectation of a return read. Hope you did an OWC so I can finally return a read. Oh and hope you win all of PAGE too.

Again - thanks everyone - you all very kind.

I can say that 90% of my progress on script writing has been from this site. Both in terms of what I've read and what I've written. It is a great place.
