Back in 2013 we had a Seven Week Challenge.  Stephen's (SteveUK) -  script, Bad Connection was one of those scripts.  Stephen writes, "...it started life as part of a 7WC..."

'Bad Connection' follows a down-on-her-luck waitress, played by Dana Davis (“Prom Night” “The Morning Show”, “The Rookie”) who discovers a snuff film on the stolen cell phone she purchased. She soon finds herself on the run from a methodical madman played by Chris Gann (“For all Mankind”, “The Valet”) hellbent on getting it back, and willing to destroy anyone who stands in his way.

Yeah, the director got a writing credit because he gave the script a rewrite before filming. He basically had to change all the expensive set-pieces I'd written because they would have trebled the budget    which meant the ending had to be completely changed  

No news on how or when it will be released yet, although I think it's supposed to be some time over the summer.

I just realized that this script started out in a 7WC. That actually makes it two scripts from that challenge that has sold. Dena has sold her script Dead Cell twice!

Was that the one run by Janet Clarke's husband? I forgot his name.

If it was, that was the only 7WC I entered, and I literally just finished my comedy feature from it last week.
