Awwwww! How sweet! I'd keep Jorge away from the potato salad, the little bastard! This was great. A little hard to read, but nice to see Jorge get his in the end. Nicely done!
The title alone interested me on this one, and it gave nothing away about the story, which I liked that aspect of it.
Yeah, I'm sure a lot of people might say that it was overly violent and visiually disturbing for a cartoon, but I liked that aspect of it, too. Who says there can't be adult cartoons with swearing?
I also thought it was an interesting take on the OWC, doing a cartoon.
Very well written, with good drama and a picnic, though I have to admit, that kind of torture to animals doesn't really get by parents that often.
Yeah, a bit on the bizarre side, but fun...Something Ralph Bakshi might have done back in the day...How old was Jorge, the ant grinder, wing pulling serial killer to be? Makes a difference if he's 6 versus 13...No Proper introduction for Mom and Dad either, which gives the impression that this turned out relatively quickly...Really liked Vanessa's run on dialogue that would never stop for a breath even though she was turning blue she still had to get that last thought out before...phew...The squirrels, Sam and Lorraine, having human names made it a little more tricky to read...(Personally, it would have been slightly more twisted if Dad was typical redneck and secretly approved of his little squirts shenigans...as it is, he's just kind of bland...Liked the title and the creative manner in which vengence was wrought...one of the only manners that a squirrel can take out a snot nosed little punk...
Is Squirrel Noir a genre? Perhaps it will be...
