Almost more embarrassed about my guesses more then my script. i did peg Cam for terms of endowment though.... I'll curtsie for that one. Was great fun all.
Yeah, I'm your culprit. I wrote Terms, aka "That Monster Schlong Script." Good guess, James. And thanks, Don for calling me Ted the Terminator. By far the coolest pseudonym of the OWC.
Yeah, there's a few surprises. First of all, well done all, for a great OWC.
I don't think I've read any of blakkwolfe's stuff before but Broadway Betty was my pick for the best script. It didn't seem like a guy wrote it for some reason, so top effort bw.
Cam, loved TOE, as did most of us.
My second fave was The song of June. very good, coding!
In the next few days I will look over some of the scripts I missed which I know want to read 'cause I know the writer. I didn't get around to them all when it was on, and kept on reading script with the least views.
I enjoyed reading the scripts from this OWC. All of them are great!
And thanks for those words, stevie! I thought no one is going to like my script after all the reviews I got. That was a relief and an inspiration for me to keep writing.
Personally, I liked The Reunion, Monster Schlong, and Rachel's Song.
FEATURE:
Memwipe - Sci-Fi, Action, Thriller (114 pages) - In a world where memories can be erased by request, a Memory Erasing Specialist desperately searches for the culprit when his wife becomes a target for erasure -- with his former colleagues hot on his trail.
I also voted for "The Reunion" as my #1 favorite. Some very funny stuff in there.
Thanks Jeff. When I read the original challenge I mistook it to be either a romantic comedy OR a romantic drama. Hence I went the comedy route and it didn't really have any drama in the story. So it's good to see at least the comedy element played out okay for most people.
Seems like The Reunion is the favorite to be the iScript selectee....

Or Killer Shrews...oh wait a minute...that wasn't an OWC, was it? I do love those "dogs" running around with rugs covering 'em though. Could have been a great idea.
Hmmm, I'm surprised we haven't heard anything yet about the top 3 or whatever. Could be difficult (very difficult) to iscript this with the singing and tune involved.
Special nominee should be The Cabin. SHIT! That wasn't an OWC either. MUST STOP DRINKING...MUST STOP...

I will step across this limb to represent:
Broadway Betty
And
Autumn Walk
I can't choose between these two as they both resonate inside of me.
It hurts me because there were many "funny" scripts that nailed the comedy, but even still, I had to sway to this side. My apologies to the FG's.
