Congratulation to the winners. Yes, winners with an S. You have a good first draft and plenty of feedback to guide you in your rewrite. We're all winners. Writing under the pressure of a deadline, pages count, a per-determined them are powerful stimuli for creativity. Don't underestimate what you have. You may gain more traction with a polished draft of your entry than with any of your "unrestricted" projects.

Now, the other side of me, the darker one. Who keep beating me up for missing all those typos. Failing once again to: "keep it simple stupid." Not being clear enough about certain parts of the story and putting too much burden on the reader to figure it out. *Sighs*  The guilt is real. But it is healthy if it keeps the blame on you and motivate you to do better next time.

It's just a mug after all

I'm grateful and surprised. There were so many sharp scripts in this challenge. Thank you to Don and all the readers and writers.

I think a title change and a slightly revised ending will be part of the next draft.

Congratulations Rob!

Zack, congrats to you and Sean too. I will reread later today since I seem to be the only dimwit who didn't quite get it!

To everyone that took part, thanks! It's not easy to run one of these things. Not that there is much physical involvement, but it can be hard to come up with ideas and if there's a lot of entries, then it can be hard to keep up with all the comments. Thanks Don for everything you do!

To those who entered, don't forget to do a rewrite and re-post. Not just here, but in the shorts section as well. Filmmakers do search for scripts here. Even several years old stuff, so don't abandon your OWCs thinking no one will ever read it again.

Congrats Rob, yours was my top pick. Excellent script.

Zack and Sean, a twisted match made in heaven? Nicely done, it's certainly memorable.

I'm elated to tie with you for third, Pia. Pure Love has some fantastic writing, it was in my top three.

Colin, I just want to say You Can't Hurry Love would make a terrific animated short. Yours was so creative I have to tip my hat to you for a truly memorable script.

Congrats all! Great OWC!

Congrats, Rob! A fine script.
Is this Rob's first mug?
I thought he got one before. Definitely has come close if not.

My other fav was Chewing the Bowstrings. Got an Excellent from me, despite the error ridden pages. Fire your typo-checker!

Lots of great and memorable entries. Big thanks to all for making SS buzz with activity as it always should.

And a shoutout to to Pia for the essence of the idea! Even though Don added a twist to it.
I did nothing but read and review but there's my Oscar thanks speech

Congrats Rob and well done to all others who have entered.

I've tried to find a way to get rid of that annoying (Printed with the demonstration version of Fade In), but couldn't find anything. First time using that program as well, not bad, I may buy the full version when the trial expires.

Been a minute since I've written anything and I think this is my best OWC yet for me. I really appreciate all the comments and suggestions on Love & Illusion. I'll make good use of them all as I think this is a project worth spending some time on … and with no page limits I can put in the ending I wanted to have.

Thanks. I can't fire him he's the only one I got   Besides, I sent it to him very late at night and he's an early sleeper. I wouldn't blame him for missing a couple of them. The rest was made by me because I did one last quick rewrite before submitting it which made things worse. Thanks for looking past the typos.
