I read all of them too, Jeff. The point of those 6 and 7WC back then was to help writers finish a feature. This time around we're supposed to vote on them which means there's a time limit to do so. I cannot see myself reading 10 feature from here in a month or whatever the time allowed is.

Agreed, which basically means the voting thing is a poor idea, which is 1 reason I'm out.

I am still thinking of doing this. I cannot decide. But I love these things and this is where my writing first started ...during an October OWC... so I'm teetering on it... full platter... filming ... the zombie film and then Pia and I are filming two shorts October 6-7th.. then I"m headed to Spain for a week October 15th... so my time is very skinny(wish I was) but I really wanna do it.

As Sean mentioned, if it doesn't come together, you can submit whatever vignettes you managed to finish as horror shorts.

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

Been mulling this one over but I'm not going to have time to write a full feature (on top of writing a full feature). Look forward to seeing the offerings. And I'll be in for any micro-script challenge going!

I'm convinced. We will all have a story regarding Dorian Grey. i can see it now :p

Actually, all kidding aside, I so no reason why an animal such as a snake or a shark can't e part of a painting. I think a snake would be easier Or even a tiger. (The Tiger and the Boa Constrictor, 1835
By Aloys Zotl, for example)

As for me, I don't know. i don't think I'll make the deadline. i'll try, I have some time yet. I only have three stories thus far.

Someone says it can't?
I started thinking about Gurza in paintings.

It can be series of sketches of Gurza done in black and white.

No one is expecting us to produce the paintings. If one of these films ever gets made, let the prop/art folks get in on the fun.

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

I don't believe Sean said anything about the scripts having to be based on any already existing ideas, paintings or anything else, other than the Night Gallery style. C'mon people. Movies are make belief. You can make up your own paintings or pictures and stories.

You know what I mean. But now I'm wondering if I should have kept a cork in it because it's not a terrible idea. Maybe I could have used it.in some way.

I have long decided that when I have one typo in a message forum, especially a writing one, not to edit and revise the comment a hundred times.

I do that enough with my specs.

That's high-concept. Like Saw but with paintings. And maybe a psychological thriller instead of torture porn. Unless, you know, they have to paint their guilt with their own blood...

This is good. I could see it working beyond the challenge. Write it.

Well, there's not much else than the high concept premise yet. I wrote a perfect opening but then, I found the same problems as you did here, slasher or long run. It's simply not my genre I guess. I really really want to write although I cannot feel true substance in suffering, which Horror is imo. You could make me learn. I appreciate your work.

There are vague ideas of mine to go forward albeit I'm simply not secure. There's something missing. You wouldn't want to join me, would you? Write me.

That's that.

Hey, Alex, your last post here is a bit vague. Are you looking for a co-writer? If yes, I'd love to try. But let's see if that's what you're saying.

Yes, I do. And I couldn't have any better than you, Kham. Since showing some interest in the vague premise, I hoped Rene, or somehow, anybody, woluld jump in (said it before), but honestly, I wouldn't have believed he or anybody would ever. So, it'd be great if you would try - A definite Yes. Let's talk tomorrow if you want. The opening is only 3p- a short intro
