I'm thinking of scrapping the Shark Man vignette and replacing it with one inspired by the Mandela Effect (or the Berenstain/Berenstein Bears Effect). Some people seem to falsely remember a genie movie with the comedian Sinbad called Shazaam. Obviously, we know Shaq played KAZAAM.

My idea is someone uncovers the long-lost Shazaam movie and gets caught up in a conspiracy.

Can I borrow your TARDIS? I might need extra time to get this script together.

Long as you check the chameleon circuit first! That damn thing has been acting up... wouldn't want you to end up somewhere over the rainbow and all...

I’m so out of the loop on this thread. Lol.

Curious in how anyone is doing on this challenge?

I got some stories/ideas on paper but nothing whole as of yet.

I'm in, but struggling to make it work properly.

Quoted from FrankM

Well, I for one am going to try. I am facing two problems, though.

One: I'm completely out of my element with the genre. That's fine so long it becomes a learning experience for me, and the script doesn't cause any serious injury to readers.

Two: As I get my ideas into writing, they're taking up fewer pages than I expected.

The second point is partly due to not having any experience writing for suspense.

I find that the hardest part is that part between FADE IN and FADE OUT

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

Hang in there Frank. If I’m in, I’m the one that’s going to get crapped on. Lol.

Joking aside, you’ll have time to edit after the reviews.

I h ave not started.. have a semi-idea... but thinking about writing it while on vacation in a week... trying to push through on a feature right now to FADE OUT ... was recently told "Do NOT start something until you finish what you are working on" ... I've gotten in the bad habit of writing 50 pages then losing interest and jumping to another project...

Thanks. Can't wait to read what you've got cooking.

Hopefully you do submit. I would suggest doing so even if you feel it's crap. Your crap is better than mine.  .

I don't think I'll make it. I hate the wraparound with the curator, I fear folks will check out because it's that bad, and not bother with stories.I'll keep on, but it's more than likely I'll take that bum and his precious paintings out and split them up into short scripts.

I will say post it since you never know. Worst case, you’ll get notes to revise it. Lol.

I’m debating on having 3 or 4 stories. The last story being a wraparound with curator. I’ll find out if I need to satisfy the page count.

It's hard to get someone who can ramble on like Rod Serling without completely losing an audience.

I'm writing my wrap-around with other characters around to react to the Curator, but he still gets into monologues that would make Syndrome cringe.

If the wraparound storyline is not working, lose it. You probably don’t need it.
