... So I went to a quiet bay and sunbathed naked instead, then cooled myself off with a nice swim.

Half your luck.
Cold night here..

I thought you were a Manchester boy (like my hubby)
What's the temp there?

I bought an old stone house in Hvar, an island in Croatia, that I'm renovating...so I'm there all summer. I've gone full native.

Wow! Good for you. Sounds like the perfect writing environment.

Wife is back in the hospital.  Been a tough weekend. Unlikely to be able to get anything in unless she gets discharged today. Will read entries though even if I can’t write anything.

Hoping you get something written up, since it would mean that your wife is doing better.

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)

Additional scripts are listed here.

Oh, even though I said I could not write I was still hoping I would be able to find the time. But no, does seem to be a problem for me. These three days are like the busiest.
Yeah, weak, sorry.
Next week hopefully.

It's not looking too good for me right now. Really struggling with the object of the this round.

Don't stress about it, Man. I've got like 4 different ideas... Each worse than the last.

What happened to the Zack from the last page?

I looked back to see how many dropouts this round and I think it's only the three.

That surprised me. I thought there would be more by now.

Having done this last year, I know this is a real grind.

I think the field will be cut in half by the final round.

I might have to drop out. I actually have a story sketched out in notes that I really, really like, and that never happens in these challenges for me. But I don't see how I'll be able to keep it at 5 pages. And I leave tommorow morning, so no time for a new concept. I'll see how much I can crush into 5, but if it comes out terrible I'm out.

I think it's actually 4 with Hawkeye. If Kev bows out that will be 5. Maybe one or two silent dropouts.

I agree this whole thing is too heavy... for me, anyway. As it stands it's a 5 consecutive weekend commitment. Not to mention the time spent reading and reviewing in spare time during the week. Honestly, doing this for free would drive me insane... certainly moreso than I am already.

I never know if I'm gonna get an entry in until Monday. If I don't get the time to write or an idea doesn't hit me then I'm out.

I almost missed round 2 but a last minute idea and a 2 hour writing window on Monday night meant I could scrape one in.

I refuse to put in an entry for the sake of it, if I'm not happy with it I'm not submitting lol

1) Write a bad one
2) Fix it
