Thanks for letting me slide in a couple of minutes late. You're the man, Don!

You too, Sean. So so manly.

I'd like to apologize in advance in for my terrible title and logline. Today was supposed to be my free day to write, but I had a killer headache all day. Literally wrote this beast in the final hour before the deadline. I was in full on panic-mode.

In this list Card Chase is linking to Skate The Church. Not a big deal, just for awareness. Everything else seems good.

Maybe it needs a reboot?

Ah, upon saying that, I did that once and everything stopped working. I had a partly broken MySQL database and I needed to create a new one. I'm not an expert and had to use Google to talk me through it. Including study it took me around 6 hours to do what to an expert would be a ten-minute job.

15 entries, not bad considering we are in round 4.

Apologies in advance, I'll be slow at reviewing this week - I've been slacking at work for the last 3 weeks and the work has built up, I should probably get to it before I get the sack.

A few interesting log lines though

Skate the Church has the most thread reads and Card Chase has the fewest, so people are using Don's table-of-contents post.

Don't often get a chance to measure the awesomeness of Don...

Feature-length scripts:
Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

I'll be honest, after re-reading my script on the way to work this morning, I kind of wish I was DQ'd. Lol. Serves me right for waiting until the last hour to write and submit it. This is definitely a survival round for me.

5 left to go but the ones I have read haven't been too shabby to be honest - The trading card stipulation has been used well in quite a few.

I don't think mine will do too bad in the scoring - although in one of the reviews, someone pointed out a rather stupid mistake:
Me: "No, that can't be right - I wouldn't have done something so stupid"
*Checks script*
Me: *face palm* "Dammit!"

It’s a 72-hour vomit draft.

I hear this. Many times I'll do rewrites during the week because I just can't stand some of the stupid stuff I do remaining on the page.

But, having that script sitting out there... knowing my name will be on it soon... ugh. I hate that feeling.

I'm in a similar boat. Had basically another full-time job heaped onto me, and no one is doing my day-to-day job so that takes up a lot of the evening. Will sneak reads in as I can, but the reviews may come in another late burst.

I'm kinda running out of steam to be honest. Been a bloody hard challenge. Tough scripts to write, constantly creating, reading, or reviewing.

I think everyone has done pretty well to go the distance. One more round, it's going to be a great feeling to type FADE OUT on that bad boy!

Geez, Frank, I thought I was the only one around here old enough to remember Fotomat. I thought you were going to make the object a Green Stamp book.

Some of my scripts:

Bounty (TV Pilot) -- Top 1% of discoverable screenplays on Coverfly
I'll Be Seeing You (short) - OWC winner
The Gambler (short) - OWC winner
Skip (short) - filmed
Country Road 12 (short) - filmed

I'm in a similar boat to others, called away for work for a couple of days so only just back, hopefully get some reading done over next day or so.

Found this round a real toughie, just the combination of criteria really, ended up writing it in 4 hours on deadline day and I think it shows... but hey I got one in

Well done to all for sticking with it.

It's understandable that it should die down after 4 weeks - it's a tough ask for anyone. I'm genuinely surprised so many people are still in this thing.

Agreed, today was a particularly quiet day though, so I was just poking fun

The reading this time isn't as enjoyable. A lot of action doesn't leave room for story, and it's the story that engages me. Other rounds I could read four or five scripts in a row, this time I'm choking on three.

That's interesting because I have only read three scripts thus far that are genuine action scripts. The rest concentrate way too much on story.

Those of you outting yourself on the Week 3 scripts. Don sent a PM saying there was still a scorecard still outstanding for week three so you really should back and delete your post (maybe copy it somewhere so you can post it back once the scores are posted).

At this point, maybe no one cares though.

Some of my scripts:

Bounty (TV Pilot) -- Top 1% of discoverable screenplays on Coverfly
I'll Be Seeing You (short) - OWC winner
The Gambler (short) - OWC winner
Skip (short) - filmed
Country Road 12 (short) - filmed
The Family Man (short) - filmed
The Journeyers (feature) - optioned

Good point, Gary. Not sure what I was thinking. My bad.

Gary's correct.

Let's stick to reveals when we have the go-ahead, or chaos may ensue.

There haven't even been any guesses for Round Three yet.

Matthew, I've cut and pasted your script notes for when the time is right.
Zack, did you delete your reveal? I'll check.

No need for further apologies but let's just be patient a bit longer.

More interesting, for me.
I tanked R3, taking it on the chin.

Can't wait to see what's in store for R5. Doesn't mean I'll be able to take the challenge, but I sure am curious.

I'm not expecting great things, but it would be nice to see them.

1) Write a bad one
2) Fix it

And it's friday again. Ready for the final chapter right in the midsummer (at least for the northern hemisphere)?

wow. Almost 80 scripts reviewed and 4 shorts written.

What a boot camp

I learned a lot of stuff.

Just post the standings without that one person’s score. Revise when the last score comes in.

Oh, Dustin, you do post gifs now?

What's up with you anyway?

You haven't yet declared your motive to hang around here during the challenge. Definitely volunteer of the year but why you give yourself that torture

I have no work to do until Monday. My partner is at her mother's hospital bedside as she has terminal cancer. So, I'm at home with my 3-year-old daughter who sings constantly. You wouldn't believe the song she's singing right now...

'Kiki, do you lub me, are you widing...'

Sorry to hear that about your mother-in-law.

Well, you're a dad and need to be strong and positive. And you are.

Is the song of your daughter annoying or funny? I cannot understand colloquial language.

It's really funny listening to her. She's playing Roblox, so if I wanted to I could put on my headphones and listen to music. I like hearing her happy.

I rarely get annoyed at anything. I think it might have something to do with all the weed I smoke. Believe it or not, I'm a very chilled person.

Good. I think the girl was what you needed… If I ever got kids, I want rather girls and let the boy be the last, or the first…

Idiotic, my vision is.

I had my years with weed and now I only need one drag to be high. And I do it four to six times a year. At the moment I wish for another life, no tobacco, no alcohol, no drugs, nothing. But I'm the youngest in my family and need to eat the ****. The stress is killing me.

There was a clause from Sean that I think to remember. You need to read 10 scripts to be eligible to vote. Correct me cause I'm wrong.

I think it was half of the scripts in a given round, but the Round Three didn’t even have a choice for did-not-score. That basically raised a he requirement to (at least pretend to) read them all.

Who Wants to Be a Princess? (Family)
Glass House (Horror anthology)

TV pilots:
"Kord" (Fantasy)
"Mal Suerte" (Superhero)
