Wait... Would you mind clarifying everything after "It has been said..."
If I understand this correctly, we're writing 10 OWCs back to back, where the partners have to agree which 10 genres, objects, locations, and characters are to be used in the no more than 5 page script that each member of a team will independently write each week.
Every team gets the same list of 10 genres, but each individual team gets a unique list of objects, locations, and characters. Both team members must agree on which genre, object, location, and character to use one time, only after they receive the weekly topic.
So every week might go something like this:
Topic: Camping Trip. (Unique to each week)
Genres: Horror, Sci-Fi, RomCom, Drama, Comedy, Action... (We all have the same 10)
Objects: KY Jelly, Party hat, Condom, Oversized Cucumber, Jagermeister, Skis... (Unique to each team)
Location: Mountain Lodge, Arizona, Rams locker room, Dark closet where one cries incessantly due to their affinity for German digestifs...(Unique to each team)
Character: Ski bum, Screenwriter, Online forum member who is very close to posting more posts than the creator of said forum, Jeff... (Unique to each team)
The two team members must agree on which of the 10 criteria from each of the categories that they will use to write their individual weekly 5 page script based on the same topic that everyone gets.
So everyone will write about a "Camping trip", but some may write a comedy set in a mountain lodge with a ski bum who drinks liquor. Whereas another team may write about a camping trip that's a Drama set in a dark closet with a screenwriter who slathers KY Jelly on his fingertips to increase his words per minute in order to write the next great American script.

I read Blondie's intro as that the only collaboration is on selecting the elements, but the writers then write their own scripts... could be wrong of course - I often am
Yeah, could this be clarified?
And also how many weeks this expected to run for. If we split the genres, then it’s five, if not, it’s ten...if my maths is right.
I have a lot on at the moment and don’t think I could signed up to writing a script with another.
I’m way too anti social
But, may I say thanks for organising this and offering us the choice.

However, you are not allowed to select the same (in my head, I've been calling them variables) variable as your partner, nor are you (nor your partner) allowed to use the same variable more than once.
So, for week 1:
Partner A picks Genre 4, Object 1, Location 9 and Character 2. Partner B picks Genre 8, Object 3, Location 10 and Character 4.
You must discuss this with your partner in advance to ensure that you don't use the same variables your partner did or else that script will be disqualified for that round.
Once you are in agreement with your partner on the topic, you'll both go to the Agreement thread (at some point before the script is due) and say that you're agreed.
Then, once week 1 is over, the elements that remain to be chosen from should be:
You must discuss this with your partner in advance to ensure that you don't use the same variables your partner did or else that script will be disqualified for that round.
Once you are in agreement with your partner on the topic, you'll both go to the Agreement thread (at some point before the script is due) and say that you're agreed.
So we have to like, agree, and work with others, and be unselfish?
So we have to like, agree, and work with others, and be unselfish?
Oh, no, no, no. Not unselfish. Smart. You have to be smart and plan ahead (as best you can). If you use up all the easy variables early, you'll both be completely fucked in the later rounds.
And so regardless of disqualification if dumb enough to use the same variable as your partner, nobody gets knocked out per se, it's just based on highest scores accumulating 1-5 each round.
And it might be wiser picking hard parameters for yourself first rounds? Very interesting.
What time-frame will it be for negotiating variables?
And so regardless of disqualification if dumb enough to use the same variable as your partner, nobody gets knocked out per se, it's just based on highest scores accumulating 1-5 each round.
So we are also reading 150 pages a week for 5 weeks besides entering into SALT II negotiations with our partner and writing unmarketable nonsense about snack trays on Mars...
That's what I want. Give me snack trays on Mars. I DARE YOU - I WANT SNACK TRAYS ON MARS!

Not just Martian snack trays; it also has to be a crime drama starring a Girl Scout. Good luck. =)
I thought and thought and thought and decided I can’t. Not this time - too much to do and the beginning of July is gonna be crazy. Then I’ll have to move too. Look for a new place and movers and move. And learn and learn and learn data science
