Blimey, the idea I had is just too bloody big and I don't think I've done it justice at all in the 5 pages. It is too late to start again with another idea so I'll tinker with it some more but I'm already resigning myself to this one not doing so well.

Speaking of which, I've just read through the rules again on page 1 of the 'Introduction' thread and it's unclear who will be voting on these scripts and how. Plus, as Geezis says, where are we uploading the scripts to and are they anonymous like the OWC's?

I remember reading on one of the posts somewhere that we have to put all the elements we've used in the logline, just confirming this is the case?

In regards to submitting, typically Don sets up a unique URL to submit to or, possibly, the regular way to submit with a notation about it being for the Tournament. Hopefully, Don can give some input in this regard.

Everyone will be voting on these scripts and they will be done using a simple scoring table of 1-5 (1 being worst and 5 being best).

Yes, that's accurate. No standard loglines, like you normally do. Just genre, object, location, character and the theme.

Omg...I missed that it wasn't a standard logline. Wish I could have the 3 hours back where I tried to fit the random object in. Lolol.

Per Don;

He has set up the URL: simplyscripts.com/owc as the submission link for the Tournament.

This will also be posted on the main page for anyone interested.

No one is complaining about his very bad script that needs to be burnt and torn to pieces. Maybe everyone wrote a great one then

Look at the upside. Now, everyone's will be equally awful. I'm an optimist. =)

You are not alone, my friend.  For me, 5 pages is always tough, as I like to build character through dialogue and dialogue eats up pages very quickly.

Mine is running way too long, so snip snip, cut cut, down to 5 pages.

ARGH!!!!

err...not quite

I am in no doubt what kind of response I am going to receive for the great cucumber massacre I have written

luckily we can hide behind the short timeframe, and very unusual level of prescription that applies

well, I am
