Congrats to all winners!
Paul hands down earned it, hes been going strong in every round!
I love reading all the writers on top. And, Marnie, your last script is the best in the tournament for me)

Thanks all!

I was mentally prepared for my 3rd straight 2nd place finish (writer's tournament).

What a group of writers! Would have been happy to finish behind any of ya! That said... I'm very proud to have finally taken the top spot. I was gonna have to go all Moby Dick on this thing if I didn't.

Now I can sleep without dreaming of AC, Mark, John and Marnie sneaking up on me.

I've already been boat shopping. Bought me a sweet harpoon. 360 days to hunt the 2021 Tournament... now I don't have to. Which is good, because I would have almost certainly pulled a Gregory Peck: ended up all twisted in the rope, my arm flapping lifelessly as Sean pulled me under for the last time.

I'm a little euphoric right now. It's possible I'm not making any sense at all.

This is a good time to point out that Paul isn't my real name. It's Dave, and I live in Southern California. I think. I'll have to check. Not Kansas, though. Definitely not Kansas.

Hi Paul,

Would you please forward to me, via PM, a mailing address where you can receive a package, say something the size of a package that one would received containing ones unsolicited script sent out that has been sent back to you with a rejection letter attached?

Thanks,

Don

Perhaps Mark...

Just received my "prize." Not what I expected, thank God.

Thank you Don, Sean and gang!!!

As soon as I clean my bad self up, I'll take a picture. Right now I look like a screenwriter mid-pandemic.

I wanted to come and apologize for disappearing for so long, right when everyone was crossing the finish line. What a hell of a time, right? Needless to say, time didn't allow it and, by the time it did, you were all already two weeks past the ending.

However, it goes without saying that I'm proud of all of you for participating. This Challenge was designed, literally, to be as difficult as it possibly could be. It was fun coming up with all those insane things (the objects, at least. The other two were a hell of a lot more difficult than I expected them to be).

Just wanted to get my two cents in for everyone and I hope you enjoyed yourselves (but not too much). =)

Also, Sean… there appears to be a rogue communiqué between Don and the Mods via the previous challenge?

Any page, hit your ‘end’ key and let your eyes drift to the left bottom corner…

Unleeees, it’s a hidden gem from the webmaster as to some strange future event?

Or… an orphan, lol. Just got me curious is all.

Gum,

Thanks for the heads up. I forgot to remove it.  I have removed it, but for historical purposes, this was an 'astrisk' on my comment at the top of the page, "Everything is fine and this is going according to plan*"

at the bottom of the page I had, "*No, it isn't"

I finally have a photo of the tournament prize.

Unfortunately, I'm too dumb to know how to post it. I've sent a message to Don for instruction.

Once he edumacates me, I'll post it.

Until then, I hope you enjoy my new avatar!

Alrighty... if anyone still cares...

I think, with Don's help, I should be able to post a pic.

Drum roll, please...

And, there it is! My face-based SimplyScripts pandemic safety device.

Special thanks to Marnie, whom I'm guessing is responsible for making/procuring the high-class face covering.

Looking at the picture, I see that I have failed to pinch the schnoz protector. I shall commence to rectifying that particular deficiency.
