Dolemite, The Bookdock Saints, Cannibal Apocalypse, The Candy Tangerine Man, Chopper. These are all labeled "cult films" and all offer something different. If you haven't seen them, I suggest checking them out.

I don't usually think of The Evil Dead and Tarantino's work as Cult. As a rule, Cult Film doesn't usually find a wide mainstream audience and both Raimi and Tarantino's flicks have. Just my opinion.

how bout naked lunch, attack of the etceteras, creature from the black lagoon....

i concur with heretics suggestion....

and though evil dead and tarantino's works have found 'mainstream' popularity....i wouldn't call it mainstream.  they're well known films, but not everybody enjoys them.

You could always write an Attack of the Etceteras. Have gangs of ferocious etc.'s chasing people.

Ya know Heretic...I'm beginning to think you and I are the only ones on this site who've ever seen The Boondock Saints.

If anyone's ever heard of it, the wicker man is a superb cult movie.

Wicker man.  Yes, I'd like to see that movie.  Uncut.  Several good websites on Wickerman:

The Wicker Man is one of the creepiest movies ever set to celluloid. I love it.

This may be debatable but The Goonies does have a cult following.

If you are even slightly interested in this film, then you can check out these websites and their forums about the movie and more...

http://www.thegoonies.org/BB/index.php

http://thegoonies.com/board/

and my little old site - minus the forum at present...
