Every time I come into the site and move around, my firewall asks if I'll permission for a certain kind of connection to be made. It's always a different connection, so it doesn't help if I ask it to remember my answer.

Is this something happening with the website or is it some ad or cookie I don't want to be involved with? So basically I'm asking that should I answer 'yes' or 'no'. And whether this should happen at all. I use Firefox as a browser these days. It didn't happen with IE.

I also use firefox and have no clue what's happening to you although I turned off my firewall, firewalls get in the way and sometimes mess up your computer. Maybe it does happen to everyone who hasa firewall enabled.

Strange.  I'm running Win 2000 and using Firefox.  Haven't had any problems.  To the best of what I can understand there are two cookies set, one for the discussion board and one for the google ads.   As for the Yes or No question, it depends on the question.  Personally, I'd answer 'no'

I'm on XP with Firefox and don't get this problem either... What firewall are you using Henrik?

Wesley, if you have a broadband connection then roaming around without a firewall can be a bit dangerous... Some Firwalls can be a pain in the backside (Norton, for one) but others are pretty darn useful - I run Sygate and it's never caused me any problems.

Just noticed that the problem does not occur anymore. Maybe it was one of the ads.
